Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: Rad and happening shop with an unusually large amount of high end MTB frames, bikes and accessories . They actually keep stock of Santa Cruz, Intense and Yeti frames well as having a full stock of parts for builds which ranges from basic to bling. They also have a very high level of technical expertise for mechanical repairs with a well stocked work shop. Customer Service: Really mixed???!!!
The first few times I went in their shop I thought these guys really dont rate me as a customer. The first couple of guys I dealt with were pretty off handed and unhelpful. Regardless of the service I continued to go there simply because of my fascination of all the bling stuff. It wasnt to I was served by Tim (an owner) that I saw there willingness to really get stuff sorted.
Mostly, since then, Adam (head of sales) has dealt with most of my business because I am considered a bit of a pain in the butt. Very little seems to faze Adam and he isn't particularly into being nice but really likes to get things done right. He has often gone well beyond the what is expected in the realms of customer service and if something is purely his responsibility it will be sorted 100%. Unfortunately Adams is now moving on.
As for the rest of the crew, there have been many times when they have knocked them selves out to get something sorted and but oddly just as many times I have been disappointed, for example my bike been handed back to me (on the day and time I was told to pick it up) and with nothing done and no explanation given. Other Comments: The owners, Michael and Tim, have really strived to make "For The Riders" the best MTB bike shop in Australia. For the most part its a great shop but it seems that by trying to live up to such heady heights of idealism that some basic stuff like consistent service and procedure often goes south.

Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: First impressions a beautifully presented shop. Staff were initially friendly and professional. With time, they were extremely rude to me (especially the mechanics-absolute pigs), they didn't tighten up the bolt on the crankset I had installed there and the bolt fell out. Haven't bothered to mention this yet, maybe I should. I am a 30 year old geotechnical engineer and I was told to ask before I picked up a frame in the shop- in the same way you would approach a 7 year old child. How dare they speak to any customer like that. They have lost my business forever, and I will warn everyone I know not to go there. Customer Service: One of the owners, Michael is a really nice guy. It's a real shame, as a couple of the employees there are complete arrogant pigs. I would love to continue going to this shop but I cant bring myself to go near the place because of the repulsive nature of a couple of the staff. Such a shame, but it takes all types....... Other Comments: Afraid that I can't recommend this shop. Maybe if they sack a couple of the staff I will return. Will advise everyone I know NOT to go there. Also, they are as dear as poison. I don't mind paying for quality service, but not doing up bolts isn't quality service. Sorry guys, but I just can't stand arrogant people, and there is no place for them in retail. At this rate, it won't take long for the word to get around, as I'm sure I am not the only one to be cheesed off by this place.
