Shop Summary:
This retail shop has the largest in-store range of bikes out of all bike shops in Wellington region.
They sell and service cross, fitness, hybrid, mountain and road bikes.
They also sell parts and accessories.

Customer Service:
Generally, quite knowledgeable and helpful.
However, some staff appear to have limited knowledge and/or experience.

On one occasion, a staff member failed to make out a work order to have a bike modified before my purchase. So when I returned a few days later to collect the bike, the modifications were not done. However, another staff member arranged for the modifications to be done promptly while I waited (for about 15 minutes). Also, the original staff member failed to supply a bike user manual with the bike. However, another staff member supplied the manual and diagrams etc when I requested them later.

On another occasion, I requested some help/advice regarding certain types of bikes. But the staff member reacted in a manner that suggested they were busy. However they did me help out, and I made an effort to not to keep them away from other tasks for too long.

Other Comments:
Because of their wide range bikes and parts, I like to visit this store fairly regularly.

Possibly because of their wide range of goods and large(ish) staffing, their prices tend to be high. So I don't usually buy anything unless it is on sale, or when I need something NOW.

For some reason, Cannondale bikes are disproportionately more expensive than other bike brands (Avanti, Bauer, Giant, GT, Specialized, SUB)!? I was considering purchasing a Cannondale bike awhile ago, but they could only offer a 6 or 7 % discount. I didn't buy the bike in the end. Perhaps the distributor(s) are ramping up their prices too much??

They have a reasonable range of tires, but they are a bit expensive. However, if you're buying two or more tires and ask nicely, they may give a 10~15% discount!

They seem to stock mostly 23c size road tires. They say that 23c is the "standard" road tire size (strictly speaking that is true). However, the relatively poor state of many roads and wide spread use of chip seal around Wellington region make for an uncomfortable ride and increased risk of punctures while using 23c tires. I prefer 25c and 28c tires which they seem to have very little of or none in stock.
