Bike Shop Owners! We have a new feature we call the Rating Badge. The Rating Badge is a small graphic image (150x58 pixels) that displays your shop's rating and number of reviews on Mtbr.com. You can put it on your website and it allows all your customers to review your shop. It also gives new customers the reviews and validation they need to buy from you. Just cut and paste the HTML code found in the Rating Badge section of your review page. More details about the Rating Badge here»

Shop Summary:
Lots of overpriced toys in here. Hold on that's any bikeshop! Ok, lots of VERY overpriced, kids toys...

Customer Service:
Kids running kids store.

Other Comments:
If you are a kid that's just got wide-eyed admiration for stuff in bright colours and/or amazing 'new' stuff that you think is good just BECAUSE it's NEW, and have never heard of the word benchmark, this is a fine shop. If you are spending daddys money, don't know what the internet is and have a patience threshold of 10 minutes, this is a great shop. If you believe that whatever you pick up is 'awesome' just because the sales kid says he runs it on his bike (and no doubt so does his 'buddy' - the 'pro'), this is a great store. However, if you weren't born yesterday, care about both performance and value and not if it's red or blue, but you might like some detailed and genuine technical expertise from the staff, then this is the worst shop I've ever seen on several continents. Go to MEC (the techs there are excellent) or visit sheldonbrown.com and shop online at Jenson, Pricepoint, Cambria etc.
I'm going to give this store a 2 overall (instead of 1) because of its redeeming feature. They do stock some stuff you might consider owning. You can go there to browse and then buy online to avoid getting wallet-raped.

Shop Summary:
I have tried twice to write a review for this waste of time shop. Both were filled with detail and I am not spending another 40 minutes of my time to warn you not to shop here.

There is a reason why EVERYONE I know who has purchased a bike there will never give them another dime-myself included.

As far as I know they have ZERO repeat business. People in the know avoid this place like the plague.

NO CLUE ON HOW TO RUN A BUSINESS!!!!

Customer Service:
Children with no knowlege, experience or training are there to serve you unless you atually need help.

Basically they don't stand behind thier products. They don't get your bike set up for you....they take your money and push you out the door.

Other Comments:
Shop at Calgary Cycle. There is no other shop in Calgary. Bow has a good selection of clothing.

Shop Summary:
One review doesn't mean its a bad shop, its probably the best bike shop south of Calgary. Nice customer service and mechanics are knowledgeable about what they are suppose to do. It is one of those shops that email works if you just want to ask about something. Five chilis guys.
