Racer Shop Summary: Located on Broadway across from mec. It's a much larger shop since they moved a few doors down from the little house with the stairs in front. Customer Service: Typically staff are arrogant. Most recently, on two occasions, the staff have acted as if it's a huge hassle to answer questions. It was like pulling teeth asking simple questions about things like rack compatibility and frame materials about a few models. I've had staff roll their eyes, scoff and snicker as if I should know what telepathically what the highest pressure tires they carry are. Sorry for asking! I had them change my tire once several years ago (still at the old place a few doors down) and they were so nice I bought over $100 in new accessories - it was an older guy I haven't seen working at the new place. Recently i brought my road bike in to get a tire changed and they managed to put the rear wheel on crooked, somehow loosen both brakes, forget the valve cover on the tube and shift the location of my sensor for my cycling computer in the process. Very sloppy techs. Would NOT recommend this shop! Other Comments: The only reason I come to this shop is that it's the only bike shop with the type of tires I like within 5km of my house, I can't find axoim gloves anywhere else, and it's convenient being right across from mec. Honestly, the shop is good for their selection of *some* items if you know what you want, but is by far the worst for customer service and sketchy to get anything fixed properly.

Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: Typical looking store. Not particularly well planned out. Maintenance area in the back. Customer Service: Bad experiences, not just once but several times. All about attitude. The boss seems to lead the pack towards arrogance.
They gave my wife the full run-around over some simple tune-up.
I asked to check out some handle bars, mistake. They didn't even have any on display & the sales girl gave me "rolling eyes" type attitude because I didn't know exactly what I wanted.
I test rode a unicycle & the pedal fell off after one revolution. They had the gaul to ask me what I DID !
Attitudes all round are generally a bit snotty & aloof. They've earned a reputation locally. Other bike stores in the area pride themselves on NOT being like this one. Other Comments: Some of the small bits & pieces are double in price than other places.
OK I think you get the picture that I don't like this store.

Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: Lot's of crap hanging everywhere like all other bike shops. Customer Service: Summer 2006. I just wanted to rent a mountainbike for the rest of the day until they closed -about 3 more hours. They could have did 1/2 price of a full-day rental. Guess it was too much hassle with the paperwork, etc.
Probably worked out for the better some cop would have probably incarcerated me for having a small pocket knife on my shorts.
Other Comments: I couldn't wait to get back to Tennessee !
