Racer Shop Summary: This is a relatively new bike shop in town. It is a branch of a long established Duncan, Vancouver Island store. This is a useful asset as the two stores often seem to transfer stuff between each other - you are getting two stores for the price of one! It sells the usual stuff; see their web site for which brands etc.. Chris is a road racer and Rob seems to like the off road variety. Customer Service: The service has been excellent so far. Chris & Rob are always polite and will take great pains to give you advice (even if you are on a budget like me!). They are willing to go through their catalogs and order what they don't have in stock (and phone you as soon as it is in).
I am going to be getting my next bike from them and look forward to getting just how I want it. They seem willing to substitute equipment to meet your requirements. On the repair side they have been very helpful (fixing a stripped pedal crank) and will often suggest cost alternatives.
Other Comments: I wish there were more stores like this around.
