Bike Shop Owners! We have a new feature we call the Rating Badge. The Rating Badge is a small graphic image (150x58 pixels)
that displays your shop's rating and number of reviews on Mtbr.com. You can put it on your website and it allows all your
customers to review your shop. It also gives new customers the reviews and validation they need to buy from you. Just cut and paste the HTML
code found in the Rating Badge section of your review page. More details about the Rating Badge here»

We are very pleased to state that we offer the Lower Mainland (and the world, since we ship our bikes internationally) the best selection of the finest biking products available. Our experienced and friendly staff will be delighted to assist you with any questions you may have.
Shop Summary: I bought my bike from this shop a few years ago, and was very satisfied with my purchase. The store manager did promise free service and tune-ups for the bike's lifetime, which I was very surprised about. I took the bike for servicing 2-3 times a year for the first couple years.
I called a month ago about getting a tuneup done, and was told that it's only valid for a year after the bike was purchased. I spoke to the other manager, who informed me that this has always been the policy, and that the person in question understands this rule as well. I'm not very pleased to say the least, because I have always found them to be a reliable and honest shop.
Having free tuneups was one of the main reasons why I purchased my bike with them, and I've always had free servicing done for the past couple years. Granted they never wrote this down for me in writing, but it on a verbal agreement, and they never questioned me in the past. I think it is absolutely ludicrous that they change this policy on existing customers. I have been a repeat customer for many years, but I will not be going back again.

Shop Summary: Tech work is well done - enviroment is that of a nice old style bike shop.
Customer Service: The owners are great - try to deal with them. The front line staff are borderline useless. Frustrating doesn't describe the feeling when your conversations are done.
Call backs, customer service in general lacks (comments stem from more than a few instances). The owners however are sincere in their desire to make your experience satisfactory.
Other Comments: I support this store because it's local. The front line employees are driving me away...
