I visit this shop:
Once a month

Shop Summary:
Pretty small shop, packed with mostly cruisers, some bmx & mountain bikes. Lots of accessories.

Customer Service:
I've been to this shop twice in the last month, once to look at cruiser bikes (with the intention to buy) and once to get some service done and spend a gift certificate.

When I was looking to buy, I faced a lot of high-pressure sales speeches, to the point that I had to leave the shop just to get the woman to stop talking so I could think. As soon as I said I wanted to think about it before dropping $800+, the mood turned cool quickly.

I ended up buying a Norco bike somewhere else for a way better deal, and as I suspected, when I returned to change the handlebars and get a rack, the staff were first kind of rude and didn't want to help me until it was clear I wanted to drop some cash, then the guy trash-talked Norco and my bike, saying it was a screwed-up rip-off of the American brands they sell.

This shop needs a lesson in basic customer service and social etiquette. Unfortunately, I still have store credit to use up at this place, so I'll have to return. Otherwise, I would be taking my business elsewhere.
