Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: Horrible service, poor staff attitude and knowledge, excessive time taken on simple maintenance, somehow switched a $3000 road bike with a $300 Canadian Tire special. Customer Service: Horrible customer service. Waited about 20 minutes as guys walked by me and went behind the counter to play on the computer and check out stuff online with their friends. I wasn't browsing, I was standing there looking like I needed some help. Was looking for a new rear shock, and no one could give me any info at all. I was actually directed to the Fox website, and when asked about prices, they said they didn't know. I didn't bother asking if they could find out. Next question was about local trails, which neither of the two kids behind the counter could/would answer. I mentioned that I was there for a while, and had done some research online, but the info was old. They couldn't tell me anything other than there were some trails "over on Sumas mountain somewhere" (later went to Wentings in Mission and got a LOT more info). General attitude sucked, not helpful at all. Other Comments: Took my road bike in for some service at first, just a general tuneup and some new wrap on the bars. Simple job ended up taking two weeks, and when I came to get it back, instead of rolling out my $3000 road bike, they rolled out a $300 Canadian Tire special that had my tag on it. I almost freaked, turns out someone had mixed the tags up. The bar wrap looked like it had been done by someone wearing oven mitts (if I'd known it would be that bad I would have done it myself), and was finished off with electrical tape. Unbelieveable. The tuneup worked, but "accidentally" swapping bikes and the amount of time it took to get a simple tuneup done was ridiculous. I recommend you don't waste your time in Abbotsford and you go straight to Mission to deal with a professional.
