Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: The shop handles Kona, Santa Cruz and Norco bikes. The guys at the shop are also involved in the building of the new dirt jump and pump track park which should be opening by summer. Customer Service: All the parts and expertise to keep you rolling. I have even witnessed them robbing parts off of there rides just to get riders back out on the trails. They have bike rentals for all ages and level of riding and if your into kayaking they have that too. Other Comments: Stop and give them a visit they will steer you in the direction of what trails best suit your level of riding and if you hang around long enough they may put you to work If your into sitting on the nicest beach in Canada it is also here, they also have Four Skim skimboards and Oakley sun glasses.

Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: The Shop is fantastic. We were on Hornby Island during the off season for some great Hornby Island Trail Riding and needed some quick repairs made to a couple of the bikes. The shop had the guys repaired and ready to roll in pretty quick time. Fantastic service. Customer Service: What more can you say about a shop that just doesn't talk the talk ,but also walks the walk. These guys not only fix bikes, they also sell great gear and they build and maintain a fantastic network of trails. They also put out what is probably the best Mountain Bike Trail map there is.
We showed up for the four days of riding on the last weekend in March after the Island having just gome through winter and already the trails were cleared and ready for some fast single track riding....first class Other Comments: If you are on the island make sure you stop buy the shop and get some local pointers from the shop guys....Even after four days on the Island we had not had our fill of the trails and will be back soon.

Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: Continuously in operation since 1984 under various names Hornby Outdoors is a very approachable, efficient and friendly place for parts, mechanic work, information, trail advocacy and group rides.
In short it rocks!
And now they have skim boards, kayaks and even electric bikes!
Come ride.
Customer Service: Excellent Other Comments: Trails on the island are hand made by cyclists for cyclists and like a fine wine, only get better with age.
