Shop Summary:
My family exclusively road Cervelo bikes when I moved to Manitoba 5 years ago. We have now switched to all Felt and Specialized bikes simply for the reason that Alter Ego is the primary dealer of Cervelo in Winnipeg. We have purchased 4 bikes since living here and I went to Alter Ego first on each occasion. Every time they blew it with pushy and rude sales people.

Customer Service:
I really did not appreciate to be given a lecture on the store service polices.
I would rather pay for service than bring my bike back to them.
Sorry i bought from the on the first place.

Shop Summary:
I was very impressed with the selection and the web site.

Customer Service:
I had the BEST employee ever helping me out with a bike. He did not seem bothered to spend a fair amount of time having me try out bikes and answer all my newbie question. I actual did not buy a bike the first time I was there, he incouraged me to shop around, I did and no other shop really measured up. I am more than happy with my bike and my experience!

Other Comments:
I don't really like writing reviews but I really appreciated reading other people's opinions on the bikes and shops so I figured I should do the same.

Shop Summary:
I bought a Madone 5.2 at Alter Ego summer 2011. The selection was really good for the price range I was considering. Lots of makes/models to choose from. Tons of peripheral gear too.

Customer Service:
The staff is very knowledgeable. They measured me & figured out which models in my price range would be suitable for my dimensions. I tested the bike I liked the best & ended up buying it. The followup service was good too as I needed some tweaking to the front derailleur a number of times as the cables stretched. I also managed to flat about 10x that summer & initially I received free replacement tubes until they found some crap in the wheel liner & removed that. Then I finally switched to a Gatorskin tire & my flats ended.

Other Comments:
I'd recommend this store to anyone who wants a high end bike and wants to choose from a large selection. If they'd accept trades I'd consider upgrading my 5.2 for a 6.9 or a Tarmac but I'll be fine with this bike. It's a lot of fun to ride.

Customer Service:
It pretty much sucks.
I'm pretty new to biking but I sure don't like how i'm treated at this place. the owner is confrontational and acts as if he's doing you a favor by letting you in his shop.
One guy there is great, I dont know his name but the rest of the guys need a course in customer relations.

Other Comments:
youd think that with internet ordering being so easy, customer service would be top priority.
