Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: Still a large shop with plenty of bikes on display along with many parts for sale aswell. Customer Service: This review is based on 2 visits:
In June 2009, for an emergency visit to replace an exploded tire (sidewall) & innertube that occurred at 2pm but I was back out for our 10pm group night bike ride. I got help with the innertube as I was looking at the wrong side of the display for narrow mtb tires. I didn't get any help for my tire selection, but they had a lot to choose from.
In September 2009, for another tire to replace my front as it too is suffering from ruber sidewall cracking & I don't want a repeat of a blowout!
I think perhaps I could of just "walked out" with stuff...
One employee went out the front door a second after I entered.
The next was busy chit chatting to an old guy & his grandson about his upcoming surgery on either his knee or back (I wasn't realy listening to the big blabber mouth who was just rambling on).
When I got to the innertubes, the 2 mechanics were busy gabbing away non-stop.
The cashier, always female with BIG "D-Cups" is always fun to look at - but remember guys just get a hint of her mellons & look away! Don't risk getting caught in a "stare" - *Credit to Seinfeld*!
I guess the "D-Cup" girlie from the summer went back to school, sigh! Other Comments: Bottom Line: this place is Hit-or-Miss when it comes to Customer Service. You take your chances here, I'd go to Ajax that shops better!

Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: Great store! Big variety of bikes to choose from. Customer Service: Great customer service! The staff know what they are talking about and are not pushing for sales! Other Comments: Great store! They really know what they are doing there! I was so happy with my most recent purchase from them that I recommended them to a friend to get his next bike. And so far they have been very happy with their purchase as well.

Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: This shop has a very large selection of all types of bikes right there on the floor you can see, touch and even TEST RIDE! Customer Service: Outstanding customer service. Every employee we have had the pleasure of meeting is knowlegable in all aspectes of cycling. In some shops I have found myself waiting for a sales person. NOT here. Customer service is unbeatable. Other Comments: We had an accessory that became defective. Bay Cycle replaced the item no questions asked.

Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: Agreed, the priced are a bit higher than the others. On the other hand it's a big store. And has a lot a variety. Customer Service: The customer service is excellent. They always wanted to ge to the bottom of my problem no matter what. Compaired to other shops they had perfect service. And when they found the problem they could always give me a solution, (for a price, *sigh*). Other Comments: It's not my favourite store, nor is it the closet, but it's very good.

Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: A very large bike shop with a large selection of different bikes always on display. A very large selection of bikes parts and always plenty of stock. Bike shop converts mainly to winter sports during cyclings off-season. Customer Service: Pretty good with knowledgeable salespeople and mechanics. Other Comments: I find there prices to be a little higher then other bike shops within the vacinity. For example $11-13 innertubers when others sell them for $9-11 (2005). I did get 2 water bottles (2005) for the price of one at 20% off during there early spring sale as the salesgirl was busy with her cold coffee drink while getting my information. My worst experience
was back in March-May 2001. I was trying to order 1 pair of 2001 Troy Lee Designs SE full finger gloves ($65 CAN before tax) after trying many other shops with no success. They told me it would take 4 weeks. So I called and was told to wait a further 4 weeks. After 2 months of waiting I was told "we don't just bring in 1 item at a time but rather a full containers worth". Hey, that's not my problem! I guess they never heard of U.P.S., FedEx, Purolator Courier or Canada Post (parcel service)? A shop should honour it's orders with any customers! They then told me that the container was on it's way. I told them it was too late and that I can get it A.S.A.P. when I was on vacation in Florida a few days later. I stayed at a hotel in Orlando and my parcel was waiting for me at reception. I got them through Price Point for a mere $30 US.
