Shop Summary:
Went to the shop to look for a year or older 29er full suspension hoping I can score a deal. The tall bald guy wearing the glasses approached me and asked what I was looking for. After I mentioned to him that I was looking for a fully 29er, he immediately pointed at the Specialized epic. I told him that it was way out of my budget as I had a $2200 budget max in mind. He then mentioned that he can sell it for $2849 with taxes in (reg is 3199 before taxes). Seemed like a good deal but without a test ride, I just couldn't justify spending $2849 on a bike I have never ridden and was also throwing me way off my budget.

He was very pushy and said it's only a deal for today, I kept mentioning the fact that it was out of my budget but he just kept going on about the bike and kept pushing the "today sale only". I told him I had to walk away from it and if the deal is gone tomorrow then that's fine. He seemed very upset about it and walked away from me. I walked out of that store and dont think I will be going back after that.

I'm glad that I backed out of the deal. After test riding the epic at another shop, I figured it wasn't the bike for me. It would have been nice if the person at least considered what type of riding I do, where I ride, etc.

Avoid the bald guy with glasses if you can!!!

Shop Summary:
OMG - the service people are amazing! all the staff look out for your best interest & very concerned about fitting the product to your needs vs selling to make a big comission. Highly recommend - this shop treats you as a person vs customer

Customer Service:
Neil, the store manager is incredibly focused on customer service & not on sales....he is committed to provide service vs sales.....his rapport with staff & customers is incredible! would highly recommend visiting if you are interested in bike equipment - you will not be pressured, they look out for the customers.

Shop Summary:
This place is fantastic. It has everything which is amazing considering the size of the shop. A lot of it is high end--it ain't Canadian Tire--but they do have a selection of less expensive bikes for the casual rider. Had a marvellous bike and helmet for my six year old granddaughter.

Customer Service:
Helpful, courteous, friendly. I've never run into the guy some of the others complained about.

Other Comments:
I have to wonder if the reviewers who downplayed this place arrived on a weekend at the busiest times and wondered why all the other people were being looked after. I had the same level of service for my son's $3000 bike, my $1000 bike and a friend's $300 bike.

No. I arrived on a weekday, at 2pm. It was empty and I was still ignored. Go to cycle coloutions on Kingston. It really is a big difference in customer serivce. I ended up buying my bike there. The bald guy really was starring at me the whole time...

not so bad.

Other Comments:
bad really bad.. the tall bald guy is scrutinizing and humiliating his co-worker and even harassing well sounds like that. the poor guy (the victim) maybe just ignoring or just being so patiently accepting this tall bald guy's wrath. Annoying to customers with this kind of employee.
