Downhiller Shop Summary: Shop is located off Broadway; traffic in the area is bad *well with a truck anyway* parking sux to, the shop does have a large quantity of bikes to look at and test drive which is nice because you can compare bikes right in the store. Prices are good; sometimes they do have the odd sale or roleback price which has saved me about $300 between the Norco Koshka and Bigfoot. They give 10% off all bike accessories when you purchase a big; but like all dealerships they make most of there money on the accessories which are overpriced. Customer Service: I recently purchased two Norco bikes from here; a Norco Koshka for my girlfriend and a Norco Bigfoot for myself; both times i was in the shop i was instantly greeted by an employee, nice not to have to ask for service. The employees are very friendly and very helpful; both times i was there and purchased a bike this year i ended up staying past closing time; they had no problem letting me and my girlfriend test ride bikes beyond there closing hours. This is a bonus in any shop. The staff is also very knowledgeable on there bikes and could answer any of my concerns or questions.
Other Comments: I liked the service; i dont buy new bikes very often my last bike was an 2001 Norco Screamer which is still in perfect shape; i upgraded to the Bigfoot to go downhill or to the bmx track here. I have no comments yet on getting your bike served since i live out of the city and have not yet had time to take in the Koshka and Bigfoot.

Downhiller Shop Summary: There are a few good shops in Saskatoon, but the Bike Dr. has the most knowledgable staff. I have purchased 6 bikes from them, and I have advised many friends who have done the same. Their staff doesn't just sell bikes, but are passionate about bikes themselves. I occasionally stop at other shops to spread it around, but would never make a bike purchase anywhere else. Customer Service: Their customer service is great, but they are often very busy and they could use more space so it is often very packed in there. Other Comments: When it comes to bike repair they are amazing. Doug is by far the best bike mechanic I have ever seen. There is nothing he can't fix.

Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: While not the worst shop out there it is not the best. They are a little pricey, a little snobby and a little pushy. Customer Service: I have had both good and bad with them. After you buy a bike the service takes a huge downturn. They even sold me a poorly fitted bike. That's a main reason I went to pro shop. Other Comments: Like I said not the worst, but not the best by far. If your looking for good service for the long term I would try another shop. The first review must have been written by staff.
