Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: I bought a new Shimano Deore XT front derailleur (M773). I had checked out the Shimano web site and decided on the correct derailleur for my application, then I Goggled the part number and ended up with Blue Sky Cycling. They had the part in stock at a good price so I ordered it. When it arrived it was not in it's original packaging, did not have all of the parts (shims for 28.6 mm tube), and it did not have the installation instructions. When I called Blue Sky, I talked to Omar and he told me that it was my mistake for not reading the small print and that if I paid for return shipping they would refund my purchase price less shipping both ways. After arguing for a while they said they would pay for the shipping costs. I got the refund for the purchase price only. In the mean time I bought the same part in the original packaging from Beyond Bikes for less money with all of the shims. MAKE SURE YOU READ THE FINE PRINT IF YOU BUY FROM BLUE SKY - IF IT IS NOT LISTED IN THE DESCRIPTION THEN YOU WON'T GET IT, EVEN IF IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE NEW. Customer Service: Omar told me that I would get a full refund and I only received the purchase price and not the shipping. They promised me one thing and gave me something different. If you don't mind paying shipping both ways, then you might want to take a chance. Other Comments: Beyond Bikes was cheaper and delivered what I paid for. You can probably find many other sites that are better to deal with than Blue Sky.

Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: I have never been into the shop, only to the online site. They have a pretty large selection and their prices are frequently lower then I can find elsewhere. Customer Service: On at least 4 occasions, they have shipped items I ordered the same day, and being that I am in CA, the item has arrived the next day!

Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: I was looking to purchase two bike helmets and BSC turned up in Google's search results. They were the store offering the best price in the US (a couple of stores outside the US had cheaper pricing though). I was quite happy with BSC's quoted price for the two helmets, S&H and insurance. So I placed my order through BSC's checkout system for the two helmets and paid with my credit card.
That same day, Eddie from BSC called me in the evening to inform me that he would have to charge me extra for shipping because the two helmets were considered 'large' items. Furthermore, he said that there was only 1 helmet in stock and that a second would take a few days to order and arrive at their warehouse.
I told Eddie I was fine with waiting a few days for the second helmet but I informed him that I had paid the price quoted by BSC's checkout system. It would be unfair at the completion of the transaction to add cost to the total price. I also told Eddie that BSC was not the lowest price and that if I knew there would be additional charges for shipping the helmets, I could buy them elsewhere.
Eddie then asked me for the name of the store and the quoted price so that he could apply BSC's price matching policy. I told him I would email him when I got back to my computer as I did not have all the details with me.
I emailed the details later that day but Eddie was only able to revert to the original price quoted by BSC's checkout system and was not able to match the price of the store that I had emailed to him.
After waiting for 14 days, I had still not received the helmets nor had I had any correspondence from BSC. After contacting BSC to inquire into the status of my order, I was told that BSC was still waiting for the second helmet to arrive.
After discussing the issue with BSC, I decided to cancel my order and BSC refunded my payment. Customer Service: BSC's correspondence whether by phone or email was always polite and courteous.
However, their followup on outstanding issues is severely lacking. They did not inform me that there was a delay (of more than 14 days) in getting the second helmet. Other Comments: BSC's published Price Matching policy was not applied even though details were provided after Eddie from BSC offered to apply the policy.

Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: I Googled the fork I wanted to purchase and Blue Sky Cycling popped up. The fork was $25 less at BSC than at the competitors. On a Friday evening 6:30ish I placed my order and selected 2nd day air shipping. The fork arrived Tuesday morning. It all went down perfectly. No complaints.
I recently made another order and it shipped out the same day. Sometimes the bigger stores don't even ship orders until a few days have passed.
5 stars for Blue Sky. Customer Service: N/A Other Comments: I had no interaction with actual people (never tried, didn't want to), so I can't comment on customer service or technical expertise. I will just say that their website was user friendly and didn't cause any problems.
