Shop Summary:
Possibly the most "professional" of the shops in Bham as they can handle any mechanical, biomechanical and training issue. The Homewood shop is a Specialized concept store but do carry other accessory brands...I am just not a Specialized rider. I am a huge fan of Body Geometry shoes, seats and gloves and now in my 40's these have help me continue riding road and mountain with less pain.
The Vestavia store handles other bike brands and some boutique frames other than Specialized and seem to be incorporating more family friendly bikes there as well as tri gear, etc.
The bike mechanics are top notch from what I have experienced at both stores.

Shop Summary:
Great shop, extremely friendly, and knowledgeable staff. Would not think to go anywhere else in the area.

Customer Service:
The shop really takes the time to get to know you as a rider, and put you on a bike that you are comfortable with. They are not out to put you on the most expensive bike, but the bike that you will enjoy the most.

Shop Summary:
Not the biggest shop in the area, but they have enough inventory to give you everything you need. I bought my wife's bike and lots of other stuff. Not a single problem or hassle with maintenance work or returning something.

Customer Service:
Top notch. Knowledgeable and courteous.

Other Comments:
I've purchased two bikes from Bob's and each time they went out of their way to make sure we got a good deal.
