Shop Summary:
Very nice and knowledgeable staff, willing to help. I visited all the other shops in the area and just didnt fill like they really cared about anything other than selling me a bike.I am new to mountain biking so when i called to get some info at 6:45 on a thursday evening I too was invited to come to the store and try out some of the bikes even though they closed at 7:00, how many shops are that dedicated to their customers?

Customer Service:
When i bought my bike (fsr xc comp) i had a few minor issues that they would either fix while i waited or 1 day turn around

Other Comments:
All of my commits are baised off of my experince at the Hoover store.

Shop Summary:
I can only speak for visiting the Inverness store. The good news is they are the only bike store in the area to carry Fox clothing(don't know if they still do). Unfortunate, last time I visited, the selection was very limited mostly to the low end. They carry alot of kid stuff, bmx etc so I guess it is hard to put everything in such a small shop. They have the basics covered and seem nice and willing (like most other shops in Bham) to sponser events. My experience has not been bad, just average. Maybe they should break out and carry a bike brand different than everyone else. If you want a bike that is not Specialized etc...in Birmingham, you got to order from somewhere else.

Shop Summary:
Very nice shop with a good selection of bikes and merchandise. Bike link has two shops: 1 in Hoover, Al on hwy 150 (john hawkins pkwy) and the other in Inverness, Al off of Hwy280. They are family owned and have been in business for over 10 years. I mainly visit the Hoover location because it is closer to home. Their prices are always in line with market and they run sales regularly. They have an outstanding staff full of knowledge relating to just about any kind of bike. You will always be greeted when entering the door and assisted promptly; something I haven't found in the other shops in the birmingham area. They have certified fit technicians to ensure the bike you want is right for you. They are invlolved with multiple riding clubs in the birmingham, al area and help sponsor/advertise multiple community events.

Customer Service:
I am proud to say that Bike Link helped me get my start in Mt. Biking. I was a newbie and knew nothing about Mt. Biking or the bikes.
After realizing that Mt biking was a sure new hobby for me, I immediately returned the bike I had bought at Wal-mart (1st Mistake, I know) and called Bike link to get info regarding different types of entry level bikes that would last. Even though it was closing time they took the time to answer all 101 questions I had and even invited me to the store. After spending some time in the store (closed) all my questions where answered and I was fitted for a bike that I purchased the next day. I visit the store prob 3-4 times a month and have witnessed nothing less than this with every customer they have. I have since then upgraded this year to a 07 Specialized - Stumpjumper FSR Comp...which is an outstanding bike I must say. Thanks Joe!

Other Comments:
Just FYI...I do not work for and am not related to anyone at bike link. I generally don't write reviews such as the above...but a great customer service story deserves to be recognized.
