Bike Shop Owners! We have a new feature we call the Rating Badge. The Rating Badge is a small graphic image (150x58 pixels)
that displays your shop's rating and number of reviews on Mtbr.com. You can put it on your website and it allows all your
customers to review your shop. It also gives new customers the reviews and validation they need to buy from you. Just cut and paste the HTML
code found in the Rating Badge section of your review page. More details about the Rating Badge here»
Shop Summary: It’s July 07. I’m killing time in Anchorage after a 2-week bike tour, waiting for a friend whose flight has been delayed. On a stroll down Spenard I spot this great orange snow bike in a shop window and walk in. Greg is there, and we start a conversation. Turns out he just opened the store, which is stacked with everything to serve first-time shoppers and expert racers alike, as well as memorabilia from Greg's road racing days. All in all the place oozes expertise.
I believe I’m hard to please or impress when it comes to bicycles. I built and maintain a stable of 7 fancy road, track and off-road steeds, ride to work since 1985, and, yes, my toolbox does include a bottom bracket tapping and facing set.
When I inquired about possibly renting a bike for a stroll in town, Greg not only told me about the Tony Knowles trail, but also offered to loan me and my friend a couple of his personal bikes. The next day Amy and I left his shop on a Fat Chance and a Titus. Greg didn’t accept money, nor did he take the driver’s license I handed to him as a “deposit.”
Customer Service: I didn’t have a chance to meet with Greg's staff, but he is still the first person I contact by e-mail with questions about bike gear and repair. If I didn’t live on the East coast, I’d be happy to give Greg all my business.
Other Comments: Biocentric bb’s can be adjusted. Egocentric customers, unfortunately, can’t.

Shop Summary: The only shop worth considering for serious northern winter riding. they're on the cutting edge with all aspects of snowbiking technology, and can offer all the expertise you need concerning the rest of the year and the rest of the terrain as well. The owner and staff are all very involved with the local/regional racing and riding scene, and they will undoubtedly be around for a long time.
Customer Service: I've had nothing but good experiences and welcome friendly attitudes here from the day i showed up in Alaska. Helpful and knowledgeable. I live 40+ miles away and still come to this shop for most of my riding needs.

Shop Summary: at first shop seems to be well set up with a combo of high end and low end bikes and parts. BUYER BEWARE !!!!! These are newbee s . The owner couldnt give you the time of day after you lay your money down ... ( even if he knew the time of day)
Bike set up was slip shod at best and dangerous . Stem loose on steerer tube , seat loose on post , bottom bracket not installed properly .
After refusing to give me a refund and promising to "make it right " the owner replaced the 28 dollar seat post with an 18 dollar one , used loctite and over torqued all bolts. Chain out of alignment and grease oozing out of the bottom bracket , gobs of grease on shell . wtf
Customer Service: POOR !!!!!!!!!!!!! to NONE I was told by the owner he was sick of my nit picky bullshxxit after he torqued my biocentric bottom bracket in with the old style set screws and tightened my headset so it binds . Un believable .
If you have a choice between speedway cycles and costco for a bike i highly recommend costco ... or any pawn shop in town . This place will not be in business long !!
