Customer Service:
HOITY TOITY attitude in this shop. These people think that their doody has no odor. Asking a simple question will get you an attitude in this shop. If your knowledge about bikes isn't that extensive, the people here will try to make you feel stupid when asking questions. VERY condescending. Stupid me, I let them work on my bicycle. The bicycle worked fine when I picked it up. My big problem was this.....after the initial condescending attitude i got from the older guy working there, i picked up the bike a few days later. I went to the counter and told the younger guy that i was in to pick up my bike. he gave me a rotten look immediately and said "Gotta name?" What an ass he was. I make 5 times more money per year than this young punk and he's giving me an attitude that i'd never dish out to anyone, just because he can fix bicycles, whooptety doo dah. next time try this response instead. "oh okay sir, i'd be happy to help you, what is your name?" with a smile hopefully. Not "GOTTA NAME?" you freakin idiot. no repeat business from me.

Shop Summary:
Swiss American is a great little shop located in an area of the valley not well known for an abundance of trails. They stock a wide variety of mountain , rode, and bmx.

Customer Service:
The customer service is the number one thing i have come to appreciate. I purchased my 26" full suspension and my 29r single speed from another shop before I found Swiss American. They have been more than helpful with any of my questions or crazy upgrade plans I have. I don't have alot of money to spend being the privider for a family of four and they are always ready to make sugestions for upgrades in performance that dont always benefit them but make my riding experience better.

Other Comments:
Great shop! Great customer service! Very friendly ! They are not just out to sell $7,000 and $8,000 bikes like some of the shops in Scottsdale. If you have a beater,$1,000 singlespeed, or a $7,000 carbon wonder bike they will be helpful, friendly, and ready to take care of any needs you have.

Shop Summary:
Clean and well lit. Nice display and good selection of parts etc.

Customer Service:
Had been told 'this is a good fair shop' I bit, and I was rewarded with what I believe was as good an experience as I have had at any shop in this town - (been to lots over the last 50 years in Phx)
I ride an old boutique type bike (Klein) and I have had some strange dealings with shops over the years. These guys were straight arrow, not condescending to an old geezer ridin a goofy old bike. They were VERY helpful, very fast turnaround and FAIRLY PRICED. I even brought in all my 'internet purchased' parts - GREAT SERVICE and the work was excellent. Worth the drive from wherever you are in town.

Other Comments:
I like this place Good CS and no BS.
They also support numerous shop teams - gotta love that.

Shop Summary:
Nice combination of mountain, road and BMX bikes. They carry Orbea, Trek, Scott, Lemond, and Haro bikes in road and/or mountain bike configuration.

Customer Service:
Really impressive! I had them swap parts from my hardtail to a new frame that I ordered online. They quoted me a complete assembly time of 24 hours but they called me later in the day to let me know that it was done. The labor and added parts were not bad either.
Bought an Orbea Road Bike there last week, and the owner was very helpful in helping me make a decision on the final buy. He is a Road Cyclist and so proceeded to educate me on the minor differences between each road bike manufacturers, little things like which is more race oriented or more comfortable etc. So after digesting all the information he'd given me I went back the next day and test drove the bike and took it home. No regrets the bike is great.

Other Comments:
With all the positive experiences I've had with them I think I'll be using them more to service my bikes and to buy accessories.

I'm also eyeing another Orbea Road bike there to add to my stable..maybe next year.

Shop Summary:
This shop carries a very nice balance of parts. They have the lower end stuff for the cost conscious as well as the top of the line accessories and components. But everything they carry is quality, so you don’t have to worry about being sold some junk. Their bike selection is the same way. They have quality affordable bikes and some serious machines. You can tell their selection has been carefully picked.

Another nice aspect of the shop is the older bikes hanging from the ceiling. Its kind of like being in a bike museum when you look up.

Customer Service:
The reason why I drive across town. These guys are honest, that's how they do business. They Service the bikes with exactly what they need and nothing more, plus the service fees are very reasonable and their work is quality. The place also has a very laid back atmosphere with jokes always rolling. They know their bikes inside and out, which is really handy when you’re not sure what bike will be best for you. This shop also has the Fit System, one of the best fitting systems out there!! Bottom line, I don't take my bikes anywhere else.

Other Comments:
I should also mention the Swiss America bike team. A great group of roadies and mountain bikers that range from recreation riders to expert level racers.

Theres a reason Swiss has been around for so long.
