Bike Shop Owners! We have a new feature we call the Rating Badge. The Rating Badge is a small graphic image (150x58 pixels)
that displays your shop's rating and number of reviews on Mtbr.com. You can put it on your website and it allows all your
customers to review your shop. It also gives new customers the reviews and validation they need to buy from you. Just cut and paste the HTML
code found in the Rating Badge section of your review page. More details about the Rating Badge here»
Zoomers Bike & Gear (complete listing)
Zoomers was founded in 2007 from scratch by a local cycling enthusiast couple in Cottonwood, Arizona. The motto is "Your Cycling Home" and the goal is the coalesce the cyclists of the Verde Valley, thus improving everyone's cycling experience.
Zoomers is an attractive, friendly shop in downtown Cottonwood. It serves Cottonwood, Cornville, Camp Verde, Sedona, Jerome as well as visitors. They have an excellent inventory of family bikes, mountain bikes and lower end road bkes. Special orders are speedy and quick with 2 day shipping for free on bikes.
They are happy to give trail or ride tips and will probably connect you with a local rider or two if possible. The best mountain trail in town is Thumper Loop at Dead Horse State park and the premier road ride is the climb up Mingus Mountain (15 mile climb up 3800 feet) or the spin on 89A over to Sedona.
The shop is designed to be sustainable, not make the owners money, and local cyclists are very invested in helping it succeed. The last bike shop in town closed about 5 years prior to Zoomers' opening and the town has missed it.
They have a good many family bikes in stock as well as entry level road bikes and a variety of levels of mountain bikes and BMX bikes. Many accessories are in stock and bike or part orders are accomplished quickly and frequently. Bike orders arrive in 2 days from the Trek Family of bikes.
There is free wireless internet and a PC terminal for customers to use in a small lounge area for clients. Group rides are posted on the website and include road and mountain. Zoomers will sponsor road and mountain racers starting in 2008. Trek, Fisher, Mirraco.
