Bike Shop Owners! We have a new feature we call the Rating Badge. The Rating Badge is a small graphic image (150x58 pixels)
that displays your shop's rating and number of reviews on Mtbr.com. You can put it on your website and it allows all your
customers to review your shop. It also gives new customers the reviews and validation they need to buy from you. Just cut and paste the HTML
code found in the Rating Badge section of your review page. More details about the Rating Badge here»

Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: I liked it when it was Trailhead. Now this shop would only in my opinion cater to an "elitest" style rider or customer. I won't go back again. I was in the shop for about 10 minutes before they could break away from their conversation to ask if I needed anything. Too slick for me. I've been in those shops before, and was a part of that scene- never felt comfortable there- never will. Customer Service: Poor unless you are from the same elite planet. Other Comments: There are many many better shops than this. Even a crappy one would be better.

Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: They are the most expensive shop in the Valley. They will try to sell you anything. I was very unhappy with the way they treated me.

Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: I should have learned my lesson from the first day. The sales staff is rude and treats you like it's your privilege to be there. I purchased a Cannondale and asked them to put on slime tubes for me. It took them a while, but I eventually got it home. Not even around the first corner, my rear tire blew. I had green slime all over me and the bike. They were kind enough to replace it but asked me what I did (as if it were my fault). Two weeks later, the rear tire blew again. Again, they replaced it, but tried to charge me. On my second tune up, the tech guy told me I needed an "in depth" tune. They'd given me a $200 credit, so I went with it. When I came to pick it up, they wanted to charge me. According to them, my $200 credit didn't apply to "special" tune ups. The really great story happened when I got a chip in the paint. I took it in for a tune up and asked them about touch up paint. They said they couldn't find touch up paint from Cannondale. Instead of picking up a catalog or a phone, the guy spent half an hour at the Target next door picking out fingernail polish. I got the information from Cannondale myself and asked them to order it. They argued with me and never got it. When I went in to upgrade my brakes to disk brakes, they told me I didn't need them (translation: I don't wanna look that part up right now).
This story goes on. I'll save you the details. Let's just say that in 3 years in Phoenix, I've never heard anyone say anything good about the Ranch. I've heard plenty to the contrary. Customer Service: Rude. Consider it an honor to be in their shop and you'll do fine.
If the guy with the dreads is working, talk to him. He's the only decent guy in the bunch. No idea why he's there. He doesn't fit in at all. Other Comments: If you get a tune there, plan to fix everything when you get it home. I had to buy a shock pump because they couldn't refill it when they tuned my bike.

Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: Was very impressed with the selection of bike and items. Used to seeing small alcove shops, but this one was quite spacious and inviting. Customer Service: I hadn't had a MTB since highschool so I had a lot of newbie questions but the gentleman I talked to was very helpful and patient. Other Comments: I didn't end up purchasing a bike from them 'cos I found one on the internet, but I will definitely return for any accessories I may need, and possibly my step-up bike.
I rated expertise at 4of5 only 'cos I didn't really present much of a challenge to them. The info I was given still holds water after trolling the internet though.
