Shop Summary:
purchased a brand new bike via the internet.
requested that they change the cranks from race face deus to xt, and I'd pay the difference. had read reviews here about the rf cranks and they were generally unfavorable. they refused to do so and said that the rf cranks had no problems that they knew of. So I trusted them and paid for the bike. within 3 rides, the cranks BENT.
Had my local bike shop send them to rf under a warranty claim. After 3 months, Race Face still had done NOTHING.
Terrible customer service and the bike shop should have allowed me to upgrade the cranks as I requesed, at my expense. Also, they installled the incorrect size rotors.
I got tired of waiting and paid my local shop $260 for XT cranks, which have been great.
Also, Bicycle Haus had installed 8" rotors. My brakes SCREAMED! Finally couldn't stand the noise any longer. Took it to my local shop and they determined that the rotors were too large for the frame and upon braking were actually rubbing the rear chainstay...not good for the frame and causing the howling. Replaced them with 6" for $60, and now all is good.

Customer Service:
terrible
