Bike Shop Owners! We have a new feature we call the Rating Badge. The Rating Badge is a small graphic image (150x58 pixels) that displays your shop's rating and number of reviews on Mtbr.com. You can put it on your website and it allows all your customers to review your shop. It also gives new customers the reviews and validation they need to buy from you. Just cut and paste the HTML code found in the Rating Badge section of your review page. More details about the Rating Badge here»

Shop Summary:
very nice shop. great selection. shop dog is pretty cool. they're main brand is specialized and as far as most of the people in the shop are concerned, it's the best brand on the planet!! I'm not impressed by specialized over-priced over-rated bikes, but most of the guys in this shop seem to think they're the best thing since sliced bread. they also carry raleigh, but don't push them near as hard as the specialized bikes......I would not recommend coming to this place for a tune-up!!! WAY TOO EXPENSIVE!!!! yes, they do good work, but you can get the same work done for half the price elsewhere... they keep a good stock of shoes, hydration packs, water bottles and cages, and also have the whole line of Mavic Ksyrium wheels all ready to go..most stuff is sold @ msrp, but with a little talking I'm sure they'll mark stuff down a bit(if you're talking to the right person).

Customer Service:
you've got a fifty-fifty chance with the staff...some of them are really cool, and some seem to be annoyed when you ask them for help. Overall the staff seems to be real knowledgeable..

Other Comments:
don't expect any smokin deals unless you've alread done business with these guys, or get to know them before you purchase a bike

Shop Summary:
The staff is knowledgable and very friendly. I have bought most of my cycling products online, the owner knows I have, and the owner is still very friendly to me. He goes out of his way to help me in any way he can. Because of this unless there are significant online savings, he gets my business and the business from several guys I meet through college. Fantastic LBS!

Other Comments:
Oh, Get Outside is no longer there...now its just a bike shop.

Great shop, great staff, great products.

Customer Service:
The guys at The Ride are awesome. They are very knowledgeable and always very helpful. Unfortunately, I think the guy on the previous post just had a bad experience.

Other Comments:
Go visit The Ride & Get Outside.

Customer Service:
Poor customer service, they act like they're doing you a favor whenever you visit, i.e. they drag themselvs away from their conversation with their friend/buddy and grudgingly take the time to check your out or answer your question.

Unless you are really desperate, save your time and money and simply purchase over the internet.

Other Comments:
I got my road bike at The Ride. The customer service is second to none. The staff always makes me feel welcome, even when I'm just looking around. I've checked out shops all over the state and this one is my favorite.
