Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: Great guys to work with. Have always been very helpful with technical questions and in selecting parts I'll be happy with. I haven't ordered online, 'cause I can just go into the Cambria or San Luis locations. Customer Service: Great. Accommodating, Knowledgeable, Friendly. Other Comments: I usually expect to see bad comments online, 'cause people who have average or great experiences don't always care to leave a comment. Having gone into the locations themselves, I haven't had any of the problems the prior reviewers had.

Downhiller Shop Summary: My expectation of how an online bike shop should run has been based on years of frequenting Jenson, Bluesky and Pricepoint. All 3 of the aforementioned shops will bend over backwards to help their customers before, during and after the sale. Cambria failed in all 3 areas.
Customer Service: The rep who took my order(J.D.) could not provide anything beyond general information on the items I was considering to help me narrow the decision and choose the item that would be best suited for my needs. Then, after I placed my order, I learned that I was overcharged. And then to top it off, one of the items I ordered was the wrong model! When I called Cambria to exchange the item out they would not send me a shipping label and required me to pay out of pocket to return the item I didn't order. The rep I spoke with was named Tracy, and he was perhaps the rudest, most patronizing person I have ever spoken with from an online bike shop. Other Comments: Cambria is right up there with Wheelworld as the worst online bike shop ever. I would highly encourage anyone reading this to NOT order from Cambria or Wheelworld. Stick with Jenson, Bluesky and Pricepoint!

Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: Mail ordered. Customer Service: After sales support sucks. They crammed an Easton EA70 bar so tighly into a box (they had taken it out of its own packaging) that it poked out of the box!!! They blamed it on USPS. I told them that I could not go after the Postal service for their idiotic packaging(I was much more diplomatic in our correspondance). No follow up, nothing! Spent about $800 bucks. The last time I will deal with this outfit! Other Comments: I have had great service from Blue Sky, Universal and Pricepoint.

Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: This review is for their online store.
I tried this web retailer once on won't do it again. I ordered a few hundred dollars of drive train components which were all in stock according to their web site (turns out to be a bunch of crap)-- so I order the stuff and punch in my CC# to close the deal. The next day I get an email saying some of the items are on back order so my order will be delayed, but I can have the in-stock items shipped separately if I want to pay an extra charge. So I email them back and ask them to ship the parts they have -- they never respond to my email. Two days later I call and ask if they can ship the instock stuff, they tell me oh yes it is being packed for shipment as we speak and will go out today. As of the evening of the next day, I can find no indication that anything has been shipped. Their website order status page comes up totally blank for my order. These guys advertise world class service, but it's a joke. Don't try buying from these guys, stick with greenfish sports, universal, or bluesky -- they are way on top of things compared to Cambria, that's for sure. Customer Service: As bad as it gets. Other Comments: Shop somewhere else.

Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: Good selection of bikes from $$$ to $$$$++ both road and mtn. Decent stock of extras, especially tires. I always check thewebsite, load up a cart, print it out and bring it into the shop, they will ship for free from their warehouse if they do not have it in the shop. Customer Service: Talk to Pancho, he's the man when it comes to service, he is always willing to talk about it and suggest options, best wrench in the area no doubt. Prices reasonable on service/builds. I had them face a BB/headtube a few years back for 25$. Also they dialed in the disk brake mounts for 30$. Other Comments: Demos a bit hard to do since its in the downtown area making a ride to the dirt a journey, but jump onto the nearby train tracks and Poly dirt is a 10 minute ride. Friendly crew, many there are lifers it seems since I been visiting their shops in Cambria/SLO for 10 years dealing with many familiar faces.
