Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: New to tahoe this summer, shopped several shops in tc and truckee. two gave me good advice, gravity shop and cyclepaths. others gave terrible advice, one even attempting to close me on a new bike the minute i walked into the shop, a jamis that gets sh*t reviews and isn't even proofed to my 225 lb build. . .polar opposite experience with gravity mike however. he and i met several times to talk about what i was looking for, he brought his commencal down to the shop for me to take a spin. i provided my feedback and he recommeded one model down from his bike, commencal 5.5. sick ride, took it to moab and telluride a week later and confirmed it was the right choice--sick ride! Word on the street is that mike knows more about suspension than anyone in town. if you want good advice, stay away from the shop with the most lame bikes out front and the quota carrying owner.

Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: Mike Miller is an awesome mechanic. I was having trouble all summer with a set of Avid Juicy 7's and could not find anyone that could fix the squealing and shuddering that the breaks were doing. I had another shop bleed the breaks and replace the pads, but the the squealing and shuddering would not go away. I heard through a friend about Mike and stopped by with my bike. When I explained my situation, Mike knew right away what was going on. The day I picked up my bike, I road it home, and what a difference!! I am so Happy!! I just wish I had known about Gravity shop sooner. Customer Service: Mike is really knowledgeable about what he does. He is ALL about Mt. Bikes. The service I received was great. He made sure that my bike was perfect. I highly recommend the Gravity Shop.
