Bike Shop Owners! We have a new feature we call the Rating Badge. The Rating Badge is a small graphic image (150x58 pixels) that displays your shop's rating and number of reviews on Mtbr.com. You can put it on your website and it allows all your customers to review your shop. It also gives new customers the reviews and validation they need to buy from you. Just cut and paste the HTML code found in the Rating Badge section of your review page. More details about the Rating Badge here»
A Bicycle Odyssey

Every high end frame you can think of is here. they also have fully built up bikes, this is a full stocked shop, everything you could think of. Tony, the owner knows his stuff. but if you want a trek or cannondale, you will need to look elsewhere, but if you're interested in a custom built Taylor or Waterford, Tony is the guy to see.

Shop Summary:
This shop is focused on top-end roadbikes (well stocked with incredible frames/wheels/etc hanging from the walls) but it also has a good selection of mountain bikes available (Scott, Ibis, Titus, Marin, Lapierre). Where this shop shines -- customer service.

Customer Service:
My experience with the customer service has been superb. Andrew, my salesman and a mountain bike racer, took extraordinary time with me on repeat occasions to well understand my background and what I was looking for and to provide well-informed and thoughtfully-qualified suggestions based on personal experience. Tony, the owner, also chimed in with valuable suggestions and comments. Of the four local shops I visited recently, the customer service in this place was a good degree above the rest (with Summit San Rafael second).

Other Comments:
While I was in the shop on a couple of occasions many obviously repeat high-end road bike customers came through and were treated well and on a first-name basis. In sum, I think this place caters to people who generally are much further up the hobby/sport ladder than am I and, nonetheless, they treated me courteously and professionally. This is the type of place that I would proudly call my local bike shop.
