Shop Summary:
Cyclists here are lucky having such a great resource. I've been dealing very regularly with this shop since it opened and have always had a great experience. Aside from normal maintenance items, I also occasionally need special order items or expert service on the classic Italian road bikes I restore. Chris and Matt always come through even on some of my rather bizarre mechanical service needs. They're also quite willing to special order items for me that almost no shop would normally ever carry.

Customer Service:
Tops - A+ - Friendly staff - Highly recommended.

Other Comments:
Stop by their NEW LOCATION in a restored Victorian house conveniently located on Kelly Ave. just off Hwy 1 and check out what now may be the coolest bike shop on the planet!
The shop is broadening its line to include more roadie gear. It also stocks fun, utility (comfort) bikes for general recreational use as well as a complete line of stock and custom-built mountain bikes.

Shop Summary:
Excellent shop in Half Moon Bay. It serves everything from your mountain bike racers to just needing a tire fixed on your kids bike. The owners (Chris and Mike) along with Ryan and Sean are very passionate about biking and deliver great customer service. They want to make sure you get what you need and never over sell you anything.

Shop Summary:
Up to date, latest proven technology inventory. Qualified ,competent,
knowledgable and friendly staff that live and know bicycles. Prices reasonable, not overinflated. Did I mention trustworthy.Awesome, hand made sign! This shop is first class!

Customer Service:
Great, the only shop within 60 miles of where I live(SF Bay Area, one of the most populated areas in the country) that was willing to help me find a 1" suspension fork for my old Merlin Titanium Mountain frame, rather than try to sell me a new bike or tell me my $1800 titanium frame was obsolete as every other shop I had been to had. I also had them custom lace a rear wheel about five years ago that I am still riding on and is still straight with a few minor truings. I do a lot of jumping too!

Other Comments:
As an X-racer (BMX long ago)who used to get parts for free or heavily discounted, and is used to building my own bikes I am very particular about where I shops , and don't want the irritation of someone who knows less about bicycles than I do telling me or deciding for me what I need to buy.
This is one of the few shops that I enjoy spending time in and hate to leave!

Shop Summary:
The Bike Works is my shop of choice and in my opinion the best shop on the coast. The owners Matt and Chris are knowledgeable in both sales and repairs. They shop has a good selection of up scale off road machines, as well as selections for the new cyclist or your kids. The shop is also well stocked with accessories of all types. The road bikes are currently a bit scarce but they do intend to build on this market.

Customer Service:
The Bike Works is all about costumer service and the reason I am taking the time to write this review. The staff is always curtious. Matt is knowledgeable in all aspects of bike repairs. From a basic tune-up to the more advanced bike set up, custom built wheel sets or suspension repairs they can handle it.
Rest assures that if the Bike Works repairs your bike it will be done right! Unfortunately I can't say the same about the local Pacifica shops!

Other Comments:
Chris and Matt will not hestitate to refer you to another shop if your looking for something they don't carry.
