Shop Summary:
These guys are awesome. I love their Bianchis. The selection is good overall. Just don't wait too long on the bike you want. It might get picked up by another rider.

Customer Service:
Awesome knowledge with bikes and parts. I've gone to other bike stores - not to be named - and clerks are left scracthing their heads with no clue about my questions. Eric and crew have the solutions to my problems.

Other Comments:
Recently moved to South Bay, but still go to Eric's for quality work that's accurate and with out thinking whether my wallets being gouged.

Shop Summary:
I like this shop. When I asked for a quote on a new rear shock (Fox RP23) and to have pivots serviced on my blur they gave me a QUICK and COMPETITVE response without a lot of "qualitative" fluff. Their service is great. As an example: I went to their shop ~ 1/2 hour before closing to drop off my bike so they could install a new bottom bracket that just came in, well Steve wasted no time to install the bottom bracket at that moment (and to offer me A Widmer Hefe while I waited). It was a cool time to hang out and talk with the staff. One word of warning, the staff is extremely sarcastic! But I enjoy their sense of humor so I was not offended.

Shop Summary:
I have been visiting this shop for the last couple of years and they have always taken good care of my bike. They have done last second repairs to make sure my bike was ready for a upcoming ride. They were very helpful with all questions and give good advice. Ive been to all of the other local shops, but like this one the best. thanks a bunch P.H.C.

Shop Summary:
They are a full service dealer selling several brands, including Specialized, Seven, and Cannondale. It's been in the same family for more than 30 years. I've bought bikes from Eric, the owner, and his father before him.

Customer Service:
They've gone above and beyond the call of duty for me. They've fixed base model bikes while I've waited, stopping work on more expensive bikes. I've had warranty issues with Specialized that they handled with one phone call, even getting Specialized to overnight parts to them to get me on the road. While they don't give delivery time promises for most service, I can't remember ever having a bike more than overnight. When I suggested replacing parts that weren't needed on a bike I took in for a tuneup, the head mechanic told I didn't need them and I'd just be wasting money.

I also watched as a new customer wheeled in an ancient mountain bike with flaking tires and asked if it could be salvaged. The owner took a quick look at it, checked for rust, and brake and dérailleur operation, and instead of trying to sell him a new bike, told him that with new tires and tubes it would operate as good as new. He told him, honestly, that new bikes were a lot better, but that he really didn't need one.

You don't get service or honesty like that every day.

I did have a cassette not properly tightened once. I did have to wait longer than I should have to buy tires, but these are minor complaints.

Other Comments:
One of the other reviews mentioned 'kids' with attitudes working as mechanics. I've been going there long enough to have seen many mechanics there. Bike mechanic is an entry level job and turnover is high. Some are better than others. I did hear one inappropriate comments made about a customer's bike, luckily out of earshot of the owner who wouldn't have tolerated it. It's hard to fault the shop as a whole for a loose tongue on an employee who probably won't be there in six months. I've also met several mechanics there with a passion for bikes and knowledge that just won't quit. To be brutally honest, Eric can come off as a little smarmy the first time you meet him, but he's an honest businessman who goes out of his way to help his customers and doesn't try to ring every dollar out their wallets out. That's not common today.

Shop Summary:
2 thumbs down!!!!

This shop is a joke. I needed a bike boxed for a flight to Germany. After charging me more than we agreed upon, they did a horrible job boxing the bike. Their service included only removing the wheels, pedals, and seatpost, and putting the stuff loose in a box that did not fit. Loose pedals in my bike box!!! No thanks!!

No packing material, and the box did not even shut since they did not remove the rear rack, or rear derailleur that were both sticking out of the box. The rear tube was completely flat, the front totally pumped up. Had I not caught their mistakes I would have had hundreds of dollars of damage to my bike.
The list goes on, I am still too angry months later to continue...

Customer Service:
When I brought this to their attention, the jr. high kids they call "mechanics" referred me to the rude manager. The manager angrily insisted this was how every new bike arrived, and then had the audacity to point out he had given me a "good deal" when in fact he had charged more than the agreed upon price.

I have heard this shop changes owners/management frequently, perhaps this explains the amazing stupidity. Next time that jack-ass travels with a bike, I hope they box it like they did mine.

Other Comments:
I have been to many bike shops, I commute, trail ride, and race. This place was the worst shop I have ever encountered.

On the same street a few shops away you will find "Mike's Bikes". If you must visit a shop in this area go there or REI if all else fails...
