Shop Summary:
Louzy service. They make you pay for walking in if they could. Had a $90 full service on my bike and they barely grease the chain!

Shop Summary:
Closest shop to where I live; basic parts; open; a little impersonal

Customer Service:
As someone else said: spotty to lousy at best. Go in to pick up my bike, it's right in front, but the guy won't let it go without a receipt even though he was the one who wrote up the ticket less than 24 hours prior.

Got my brakes done, they came out complete nonsense. No modulation, nothing.

When I pay 5 grand for a bike, the last thing I want to hear a mechanic tell me is: why did you buy that bike? I don't like it.

Other Comments:
I think it depends on the phases of the moon. They can be super nice to downright silly.

Customer Service:
Top notched customer service. Been shopping around for a bike. Scott's the man! He spent a great deal of time going over every little feature of the bike. The guy knows his bikes. The bike I wanted was a new 2010 model which they didn't have in the store. He made the order and personally put it together when it arrived. I picked up the bike in 5 days. Can't beat that.

Before leaving the store Scott took the time to go over all the components and how they work. He had me ride the bike so that he could fine tune the fork and other settings. Really great service. I'd recommend getting a bike from him.

Other Comments:
Free lifetime tune ups with the purchase of a bike is a real bonus.

Shop Summary:
Basic Shop, they have a fair amount of bikes and parts. Neat and clean (except when they were remodeling). Good amount of products and fast ordering turn-around.

Customer Service:
Customer Service: Spotty at best. The owner (Alan) is cool if you catch him on a good day which seems to be 50/50. There is a young guy that works there a couple of days a week that is really nice and helpful, as well as the young girl that works there too.

Other Comments:
I have been going to them for over 15 years, though now i always cringe when i do. This is the closest LBS to me, and that is the only reason that i go there often. Their part selection is good, but YOU MUST HAVE GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE to be successful! A friendly hello is always a plus. Im not looking for them to lay out a red carpet, but when I ask "when will you have that (specific model) on the floor", they shouldnt reply "well, i got one in a box, and i got a lot of other things to do and that isnt a priority (to get the bike on the floor). Maybe later on, sometime". "when is later on specifically", i asked. "Maybe a few weeks or something", he replied.
