Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: I will start that I went to this shop based on recommendations from a few people who for lack of better terms know their sh!t. Lots of shiny new stuff, almost everything you could want for a mountain bike, good parking and close to the freeway. Customer Service: The person who helped was courteous and asked what I was doing with the part I was buying, when I explained he told me what I was doing was not going to work and i needed to buy some parts, approximately $200 worth and was very confident in his mechanical knowledge, although he was wrong and it really wasn't an overly complex issue. Fortunately I am more confident in my experience and did not listen to him, if i did I would not have just gotten home from a ride. Other Comments: It's like going to Fry's, Harbor freight, McFadden-Dale or such as it's one of those places thats better served for those who know what their doing. I would definitely recommend this place to experienced riders or those with prior bike shop experience but if you are looking for guidance or knowledge as a beginner or mid-level rider I would recommend looking at some other places nearby.

Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: The Path is one of the last great bike shops. I have been there hundreds of times and I still get that kid in a candy store feeling when I walk in. They carry most of the smaller mfg's and high end bikes such as Turner, Ellsworth, Ventana, and Intense. There are bikes galore, frames hanging everywhere, and tons of parts, including a take off parts wall where some great deals can be had. They just acquired some more shop space next door to their other shop and have expanded their shop so it is much bigger now. If you are in the area I highly recommend you stop by and check their shop out! Customer Service: Customer service is awesome! They don't attack you when you walk in and give you a chance to browse. If you have any questions they are very knowledgable and more than helpful. If they don't have something you are looking for they are very good about getting it quickly and great at keeping you informed on the status of the ordered part. They also have a great service crew. Other Comments: Highly recommended shop that I would send all my friends to for anything bike related!

Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: Small shop that carrys alot of the "online only" boutique items you may be shoping for and go to look at before you buy. PLEASE, trust me here, ask first before buying elsewhere. They understand and if able will price match or work a deal out with you. You'll have a place to go to that can help you with problems, upgrades or just changes (they have a "take off wall" that you may be able to keep cost in check by swapping out that RD!
These guys are a bit nutty and ride waaaay to much, but it keeps tham all fresh and in the know of what works and doesn't. Easy going it doesn't feel like a clique that you need to break into to get good service. The second time there, two guys with a small walmart (pink, with...tasalls) bike were given the same thorough service as the next guy with a fell super DH rig that obviously goes there to spend 20% of every pay check there =) Customer Service: Talk about self aware, customer service! I had an issue and it was not only noticed ( i thought it was un noticed and was going to check in the next day to ask someone else) but I was called early in the morning the next day and found my issue was not only noticed but options were offered ahead of time!
You can shop around for cost, but you'll find as i have that most will "talk" but follow through and customer service goes away quickly. Tani quickly gave me honest answers regarding my choices and offered what i was looking for, experience and honesty. I am really happy i chose this shop to hook up with for not only my new bike, but the many items i'll "need" and service as I ride my new purchase!
I don't know these guys at all but am glad i made the choice i did! Other Comments: Not afraid to tell you to get a bike else where if they dont carry what you need! Confident service!

Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: From the minute you walk into The Path you are surrounded by top notch parts for what ever you like to do in the dirt... Beautiful frames hanging from the ceiling and top of most walls. Comnponents galore... Whether you are looking for a basic cable for your ride, rare SS part, unique 29er goodies, or the hardcore downhill stuff they have you covered. Customer Service: I have always been treated like family in this establishment. Good people that will take the time to listen to you talk and help you figure out what it is that you are really looking for. No pressure, if you want to ride bikes in the lot they will keep lining them up until you find the one and you refuse to give it back.... Other Comments: As I said great people selling great bikes and parts... Well worth the drive from where ever you may be coming from or just pick up the phone, the crew will be happy to answer your questions...
