Shop Summary:
Typical Specialized Dealer.

Customer Service:
I'd heard a lot of good things about this shop, both times I've been in there I've had awful service from the service manager(CL), he couldn't have been less helpful. Specialized Corporation told him to order replacement parts for me(Shimano XT Rotors), Surf City Cycles told me they would take three days to get in, and they would call me. I didn't hear anything for a week, called down there and left a message for CL 5 days in a row, he didn't return one message, eventually on the 6th day I caught him when he picked up the phone. I asked if the parts had arrived, replied no. I asked for a rough idea when to expect them, is it a month, three months....response was he didn't know, and doesn't have time to call and find out! We talking about calling Shimano in Irvine, not Italy at midnight. I asked if he could get me any other brand, his response was they don't have any others in stock, "you must wait"...how much more can a guy hate his job!

Other Comments:
Specialized Corporate has made a huge effort to help, SCC may just be getting a little too big for the service you'd expect from a LBS.

Shop Summary:
What can I say that the other reviewers haven't already said thus far? This is a great shop. Good inventory, a passionate and knowledgeable staff providing great customer service, solid bike mechanics, and a very personable owner... this is the way a bike shop is supposed to be.

Customer Service:
These guys are so cool that you wish that you had a million dollars to spend in this shop just because you know they're not trying to make a quick buck off of you. Instead, they make it a point to find what's appropriate for you.

When I was new to the sport, it was this attitude that Nelson and his peers had that made me feel safe about making purchases here. And because of that, I will always return. I'm sure, however, if you insisted on a Cervelo SLC-SL or an S-Works, they would't put up much of a fight though... heh.

Other Comments:
When I refine my mtb skills to the point where it's worthy of a boutique brand like Intense, I'm coming here to get it. Their passion for the sport, awesome customer service, and genuine concern for their customers' best interest make them more deserving of my business than any other shop I've been to... and I've been to a lot (don't go to Helen's in Santa Monica).

My only gripe is that they don't carry more mtb boutique brands. However, I'm sure if I were to ask for something like a Ventana, Yeti or a Niner, they'd be able to get it without any problems.

Shop Summary:
Best shop in the OC by far.Sean,TJ,and Mike have all disciplines of cycling covered whether you ride road, mountain,or are just looking for a "cruiser" bike. The whole staff there will listen to what your interest are and point you into the right bike for you and your style. The staffs knowledge of the products available for your needs are amongst the best in the business.

Customer Service:
Customer service is second to none. The whole staff there is very knowledgeable about any type of bike you bring in.It doesn't matter to them where you bought your bike or what type it is,they treat all bikes like they're "pro" bikes.

Other Comments:
I've been riding and visiting other shops for 8-10 years now and will not go anywhere else for service or purchases.

Shop Summary:
Best shop I've ever been in, no question. From the staff to the selection, you can't find a better place to shop.

Customer Service:
Excellent. No pressure sales staff, highly responsive service staff.

Other Comments:
I've been shopping from these guys since they were at Supergo in Fountain Valley years ago, and they have done it even better at this shop. They usually have everything I need for both my road and mountain bikes, but if they don't, they are quick with the special orders! Awesome service.
