Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: Very knowledgeable and friendly staff, well stocked shop. If they don't have what you are looking for, they will order it in asap... and match any price - even internet I believe. No attitude here, just a good bunch of guys that make sure you leave happy every time. Customer Service: I recently decided to give full suspension a second try after having an Epic a few years back and finding it just not functional for me. Alex was extremely helpful (and knowledgeable) in helping me decide which bike would best suit my needs. He spent a great deal of time with me over the course of several weeks, working with me closely to gain knowledge on my choices. Between his input and much research, I decided on a 2009 Giant Reign 1. Unfortunately, Cal Coast did not have one in stock and Giants warehouse was empty as well. With much guilt, I purchased the bike at another local Giant dealer. The bike store where I made the purchase did not fit me on the bike, and didn't even bother to explain anything to me about the bike either - they just took my money and sent me on my way. When I went to Cal Coast to thank Alex for all of his help and told him of my guilty purchase, he was only concerned with my final outcome of happiness. When he found out about the lack of service from the other shop, he insisted I bring my bike in. Not only did he fit me on the bike, he thoroughly explained to me how the suspension works and all of its functions. Now thats service... and class. Other Comments: To Alex and all of the crew at Cal Coast - you guys rock! I just wish you had the bike in stock so I could have given you my money...
BTW, the Reign 1 is F****** AWESOME, I love it! Thanks again Alex for all of your help!

Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: I have nothing but good things to say about these guys. I've bought a bike, bought parts, had service work performed, and many times just picked their brains. They've always been very responsive and helpful. Customer Service: Every time I've been in my experience has been positive. All the people at Cal Coast seem down to earth and from what I can tell, just plain like bikes. I honestly don't understand some of the posts about attitude, etc., but hey, everyone's mileage varies I guess.

Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: I don't live very close to this shop, but was interested in the Ibis Mojo and they had a demo program. I was impressed with the care taken to properly fit and set up the bike and everyone I interacted with was very knowledgeable and helpful.
The store has quite a variety of bikes from high end FS to beautiful town cruisers and a steady stream of customers. The staff handled the flow very efficiently without making anyone feel rushed.
I subsequently ordered a Mojo SL and started what I feared might be a lengthy wait for these popular and limited production frames. It was barely 2 weeks before the frame arrived and was built up to perfection. And what a beauty it is. I am very happy with my experience at Cal Coast. Charlie, George and Alex were all great, and the "wrench" that helped me with a pedal problem and cut down the seat tube was super as well...and those guys are busy !

Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: This bike shop rawks! The staff is knowledgable and eager to help. The service department is filled w/ guys/gals that truly enjoy what they are doing. They are honest and trustworthy. The shop doesn't have the greatest selection of parts accessories, but tell them what you need and it will be there asap. They carry mostly high-end bikes. Customer Service: Excellent! Other Comments: This place feels like a bike shop and not a corporation.

Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: If you are looking for a Ibis Mojo in So Cal, this is the place to go. They have a significant inventory and I got a great deal on my Mojo. I was shopping a number of shops and after talkning to Charlie (owner) a couple of times, I made a visit and closed the deal on a new bike. For what it is worth, I live in Ventura County, 150 miles away and still decided to buy from them. The staff is knowlegeable, low key and they all ride. Customer Service: Service is excellent. They spent the time with me to set up the bike and were very responsive to follow up questions. I did have a minor problem with the seat tube coming loose, and within an hour, I had a call back with three options to fix the problem, including a complete frame replacement. I even received a couple of follow up calls to make sure everything was going well with the bike. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from Cal Coast.
