Bike Shop Owners! We have a new feature we call the Rating Badge. The Rating Badge is a small graphic image (150x58 pixels)
that displays your shop's rating and number of reviews on Mtbr.com. You can put it on your website and it allows all your
customers to review your shop. It also gives new customers the reviews and validation they need to buy from you. Just cut and paste the HTML
code found in the Rating Badge section of your review page. More details about the Rating Badge here»

Shop Summary: Decided to order Fox Fork, Fox Shox, and a 15mm thru adapter Easton Havoc. Bad decision. Read below.
Customer Service: Jan 6 2010 Placed the order. Received email confirmation immediately. Recieved phone call asking what year frame-and I told them. Jump to 29 Jan 2010. Recieved email asking what year type of frame. I called them. Bike Bling guy Kerry said, "uh yea, forgot to write down the frame info on 6Jan2010, sorry." Now its 29JAN2010, it will ship next week.
Horrible.
I dropped $1300.00. They sure know how to run a credit card, but not their business.
Other Comments: I do not recommend this shop to anybody. Shop else where. I will pay a few bucks more for good customer service.

Shop Summary: This review is strictly for online dealings as I live out of state. I can't recall how I came across their website intially.
For an online shop, they have a fairly decent selection of parts, some of which you can't find on some of the larger online stores. In some instances, the selection was lacking, but overall I can't complain.
With the 10% MTBR coupon code it puts pricing at a very competitive rate.
A definite positive if you're a wheel builder is the ability to purchase individual spokes/nipples (rather than boxes) and they have a very decent selection to choose from.
Customer Service: This is where things get odd. I'm assuming from the other reviews that this Kerry guy is the owner and he was the only person to ever answer the phone. It's an odd experience at first as all you here is 'this is Kerry.' While you're talking to the guy he's also interacting with instore customers so you don't know if he's answering your question or someone elses. At times it was extremely frustrating and to be honest, was a put off to have to deal with.
My first time shopping I had to follow up on things and they did go out as promised. Although, not 'quick or fast' as they advertise in print magazines. It took the better part of a week.
Second time ordering a week later it was a completely different experience. I was promised to have a part shipped the next day and it ended up being dragged out into the next week as the part couldn't be found. The only follow through was instigated by me calling 5 business days after the order was placed.
Other Comments: This review is a tough one. On the one hand they have a decent selection. On the other, you can't tell what's instock and what has to be ordered in.
Had this been riding season I would probably have cancelled my second order as it took so long and there was zero follow through on their behalf until I called.
Supposedly there is an option to amend or change your order while processing-but it doesn't work.
If Kerry is the owner of the shop he has a very nonchallant way of interacting with his customers. In some cases that may be ok, but when you're dealing with him on the phone it's not ok and makes for a very frustrating experience trying to have a conversation with him while he's conversing with others in the store.
After my second experience ordering from them, I'm not certain if I'll be visiting their online store again.

Shop Summary: online place with good deals. ordered a set of pads online. Ok, looks good get an e-mail that they got my order. 4-5 days go bye..I hear nothing. 10 days go by..so I e-mail them. oh yeah, your order will arrive on thursday or friday. Check online and says my order is "in process"
So on monday around 12:00 I send a terse e-mail..where is my stuff. I hear nothing. I call them late afternoon. "I'm calling about my order" "Let me guess, the shin pads, yeah, I'm looking in the box for them right now"
"ummm will you take a different color?" WTF! You told me you had shipped them already. "yeah, no I didn't"
Customer Service: Totally Lame service. Like down right rude. I was totally polite and they guy acted like he was doing me a favor. Besides that he just down right lied to me telling me they were to arrive on what was the next day when he hadn't even shipped them. to top it off, after he told me that he didn't get off his arse and ship them!!
Other Comments: what more can I say. Got my stuff from price point in three days..these guys, three weeks.

Shop Summary: shop is appropriately named. visited there with my 9 year old son, whose eyes upon entering, grew as large as silver dollars. he's a bmx racer but was impressed with the road and mountain bike inventory. the layout is nice. you don't feel engulfed by all the products like in some bike shops.
Customer Service: was immediately greeted and helped with my purchase. my son was even given a complimentary item.
Other Comments: can't wait to shop there again because there prices are fair and they seem to have the hard to get items.
