Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: Performance Bike is one of the biggest retailer bike shops in the U.S. and it shocks me that there bike selection is pretty crappy. Fuji, Ironhorse, Schwinn, GT and that's it. I remember when they had Giant, Canondale, and other mid-high end stuff. Their components are limited too but I must say that it's nicely located in many areas of San Diego. Customer Service: Hmmm I know more about bicycle maintenance than half of the people that even work with the shop. If you need a technical question ask a certified mechanic otherwise just ring me up!

Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: Corporation Customer Service: I remember the days when Performance sold brands like Cannondale, Yeti and Kona. And those were the glory days. Now days... the story is little different. To put it in perspective, their top brand is Fuji. And among the Fuji's you'll find Schwinns, Iron horses and Mongooses. As far as bike selection goes, not much different the Sportsmart, Sports Authority, etc. All that aside, you can still buy cheap parts for your existing bike.
