Shop Summary:
Been there once and probably will not return. They're overpriced, pushy and seem to think people are clueless.

Customer Service:
- I went there to have a BB shell faced. I was quoted $25-40 over the phone, but when I went in person they said $40 firm.

- I mentioned $40 seemed high, most places will do it for $20-25 and someone in the shop told me that the die used to do the facing must be replaced every two bikes! I checked with Parktools and other bike shops, all of whom said the die lasts forever, and it needs to be sharped periodically (maybe 20+ bikes).

- The person who quoted me for the job rudely asked me why I wanted to build up my own bike and said I should have ProBuilt do the work. I didn't go in there to be harassed, I went in for a simple job.

- Maybe they're nicer if you've already dropped thousands of $$ on them, but if you've never dealt with them before and you need some LBS-type service, you're probably best off elsewhere.

Shop Summary:
Cool shop located near Penasquitos Canyon. They sponsor SDMBA events and enjoy cold IPAs

Customer Service:
Pro Built Wheels did a very good job on a custom Jabberwocky that I built up. The frame, fork, and rims were custom powdercoated. All the other comonnents were selected by me. Rick, the owner sopplied great input on parts selection, and, overall did a stellar job with everything!

Other Comments:
They built me a beautiful set of 29er wheels:
Powdercoated green Mavic719 rims
Hadley hubs-gold
Competition spokes-black
Alloy nipples-gold

Dealing with Pro Built Wheels was a good experience
I enjoy stopping in on my Penasquitos Canyon rides, the shop has a cool vibe!

Shop Summary:
New shop by PQ Canyon West Entrance. Great shop that you can ride from their parking lot into PQ Canyon. They starting to do group rides out of the shop, and BBQ following Sundays group ride!

Customer Service:
I have delt with Darren twice at probuiltwheels, and both times he has delivered! My first trip was an installation of a new fork, that he did in 20mins!

The second trip was for a rear wheel re-build. Darren order my hub, and was there it just a few days. Once again, the service was quick and quality! Rear wheel was torn down and re-built in about 40mins.

Other Comments:
Great service and great customer support at probuiltwheels.com. It is one of those shops yoy want to hange out at!
