Shop Summary:
Road and Mountain bikes by Orbea, Scott, Wilier, Jamis. You can also order accessories on their web site. They have weekly road rides every Saturday and mountain bike rides on Wednesday evening and on Sundays. It's best to check out their web site for the schedule or sign up for their newletters.

Customer Service:
The owners at World Cycles bring a refreshing perspective to a locally owned bike shop than the "big box" stores. Very personable and geniune.

I purchased a Scott Addict frame and was fitted when the bike was finally completed (components came off my old Orbea Opal). No fancy high tech laser fitting - just good old rulers and plumb lines. This was very important as my frame had the integrated seat mast so there was only one chance to cut it correctly. Since the fitting I have enjoyed riding more. I did not realize how "miss sized" I was on my Orbea (I purchased the Orbea from another "techy" shop in San Diego).

Other Comments:
Great shop, great owners and great cutomers.

Shop Summary:
This is what I would call a “Pro Bike Shop” Most of their bikes are on the high end side. After I got new bike at different LBS (local bike shop) I was having problems with pain, I got fitted at other LBS but the problems continued and actually aggravated. A friend recommended World Cycles, and told me how good his bicycle was fitted so I decided to try them out. Now my bicycle is fitted correctly, my problems disappeared, and my ridding improved drastically. I’m a believer!

Customer Service:
Their customer service skills are great. The shop is run by a very nice couple that actually still races pro mountain bike as well as road; this shows in their knowledge of bikes and all the stuff related to cycling. The shop’s technical expertise in excellent, the way it should be at all the other shops.

Other Comments:
I drive almost 20 miles every time I go to World Cycles but the service and the expertise makes it worth it.

One of the finest bike shops around town. They carry mid to high end bikes, mountain and road, The Veloz line of clothing is a favorite of many riders in town.

Customer Service:
Old school customer service, you can say one on one. They do a terrific bike fit, have had several done for myself and my family along with my riding friends.
One of only a handfull of shops that cater to the hispanic cyclist, they come as far as ensenada.
The owners are very knowledgeable both on road bikes and mountain bikes.

Shop Summary:
World Cycles is a bike shop that brings you back to the types of shops that were in San Diego before the super stores took over. The owners ride both mountain and road - A LOT! Many times I've been there and they are working the counter still in their riding gear! They both race and have men's and women's MTB championship hardware to prove thier skills. They are real cyclists serving cyclists.

World Cycles carries only the best quality bikes, parts and accessories. Mid to high end bikes are thier specialty. They have bikes that are hard to find at reasonable pricing. The shop has some unique products. The Veloz cycling wear is fantastic. It feels like you're not wearing anything. The Uvex helmets fit perfectly. The shop has a good selection of mid to higher end bikes and parts - especially for the weight weenie.......... more carbon than I knew was available.

Any special order - especially high end parts like ceramic bearings - will get to you within a few days.

World Cycles has the best bike fitting program I've ever seen. For a very reasonable fee they will size your frame, seat height, stem length, handlebar height, torso angles, knee angles and hip angles to give you a perfect fit.

Customer Service:
The owner knows quite a bit about all types of bikes and riding. He can dial your bike in for the way YOU ride, not just to the "book". You come away from the shop feeling like you've just visited some friends, not just a bike shop.

They have a "try me" saddle program. They will loan you a saddle to ride a few rides. If you like it, they will order that saddle for you. If not, you can try another for a few rides. Once you find the saddle you like, they will order the same saddle while you still get to use the loaner. That's service!

During your bike fitting the owner will spend at least an hour with you and your bike, dialing everything in meticulously. He enters all of your measurement data into his PC so you'll have it for any bike you bring in or the next one you buy. Once you're fitted, you'll feel your bike becoming part of your body. Afterward, you will have more power, better balance, less fatigue and more comfort during the ride.

My bikes were supposedly fit to me from the store I bought them from. They looked like they knew what they were doing. After the adjustments from World Cycles, my riding has dramatically improved. They REALLY fit you.

Other Comments:
Great People, Great Products, Great Service. Get your bike REALLY fit.
