Shop Summary:
This may be an old shop in a sketchy part of town ... It may be 15 miles and several traffic lights from my house ... away but I keep going back. I have tried 3 or 4 closer (and newer) places but just don't seem to get the same service. They have a huge supply of parts and not afraid to show me how to do some things on my own. They actually call you back when they say they will.

Customer Service:
Todd and his guys will help solve problems on the spot. And I never get the feeling they are running a meter (like a taxi cab) on their time. Just the other night I was having a problem with my chain wrapping my derailleur up behind my cassette. I had put on a new chain and it was too long. They removed the links, tested it, removed a couple more, and retested it. The fellow then showed me where my shift cable was getting frayed. I had him install a new one. He then adjusted my front shifter, straightened a couple bent links and lubed the chain. He took the bike out and rode it (in the parking lot), came in and adjusted the derailleur, went back out and rode again, came back in and pronounced it "good." My cost ... $23. The tech spent at least 1/2 hour on my bike. The parts were around $15.

All in all ... I was, once again, quite pleased.

Shop Summary:
I bought a 1982 Peugeot there back in 1982. I was given expert service even back then! I'm 51 and still riding, although I ride a 2009 Trek Madone 5.5 carbon fiber, I will always remember Zumwalt's!

Customer Service:
OUTSTANDING!

Shop Summary:
Excellent shop! Eric and Rich are super nice and very helpful. I have bought two bikes from them and will surely go back for future purchases.

Customer Service:
Great! All of the employees are helpful and do not try to sell you things you don't need. Repairs and tune-ups completed very quickly (while you wait).

Other Comments:
Support locally owned shops! When you buy a bike from Zumwalts you are supporting local riders and local bicycle advocates.

Shop Summary:
Located in College area, the shop is surprisingly larger than it looks from the outside. They seems to stock alot of Giant, and Diamondback, and also have a good selection of Yeti. The shop on a summer day was very warm.

Customer Service:
I've only been to one other shop that could compare to the level i've experienced here. Always coming out on the floor to offer help and trying to understand your needs to make recommendation, felt no pressure. Also insisted on loading bicycle purchases and provided cardboard to protect car interior.

Other Comments:
10% off accessories for a year when purchasing a bicycle. No Air conditioning.

Going to give technical expertise a 3 since i've never had anything serviced here.

I'm going to give an overall of a 5 since the service is so great and that's all you need a LBS for these days.

Shop Summary:
A home-town type shop feel. Good selection of everything you could need.

Customer Service:
Two words...AW-SOME!! Eric and Rich answer any question thrown at them. They fix problems with your bike while you are there (if possible). Some other shops act like you are bothering them when you bring your bike there for service. Zumwalts make you feel like riding more everytime you leave their shop. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!
