Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: appeals to a broad crowd...had lots of variety (triathalon gear). Customer Service: Been there a couple of times and haven't been impressed. Selection, although better than some other shops in town, is not all that good.
Agree that employess are marginally knowledgeable about the goods. Seemed more interested in talking to one another than talking to the customers.
Also, I am a big guy and could not find clothes in the right sizes. Instead of offering to order something, I got the "we get what we get" story.

Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: From my experiences with this shop I would agree with previous reviews. Do your research prior to shopping at this store. I would not seek technical information or fit advice from the employees. Other than that it is a good place to try and find deals not offered by other LBS in Colorado Springs. The Big Box situation. Customer Service: Employees are friendly but not always knowledgeable.

Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: Colorado Chain where they are the "big store on the block" so the Walmart Version of a bike shop. Lower prices crappy service. Customer Service: Went shopping for a mtn bike for my wife and it took almost 15 min to fill out the paper work and then they couldn't unlock the bike to let her try it. After waithing 10 more min to get it unlocked we gave up and left.
Wanted a replacement 9speed chain Sram 59 or 69 they didn't stock any but they had a $150 Rohloff available. go figure Other Comments: For a "big box" store I've never been impressed with their prices on anything but bikes, all accessories, clothes, parts are MSRP and pretty limited.

Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: Good selection and good prices but the shop seems to hire anyone and has a high turnover rate. Customer Service: Very little customer service at all, the staff usually doesn't know or doesn't care. Other Comments: I'd only buy a bike there due to the prices I'd never get one serviced from them. If you're buying a bike from them know what you want in a bike before coming in there, don't let the staff fit you for a bike.

Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: Big bike shop. Went in for parts to service a Fox fork and the service guy said that they don't carry parts because you can't service the fork. He said that the fork has to be sent in to Fox. I called Fox and they recommended finding a more reputable bike shop that will have parts. Basically, the staff is not very knowledgeable.
