Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: Lost sale! Customer Service: I saw an add. (actually it is still up now) stating that they had a med. Spot Brand Longboard 1x9 for $1499. I called and the sales person said that he didn't think the price was right but would have the manager call me back the next day. That was a week and a half ago and I just recieved a phone message today "checking in to see if I had any more questions".
Well, I have since bought an orbea alma 29er which I love! Other Comments: Had the cash in hand and would have drove over that day if they had an answer for me.

Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: Full service bike shop carrying higher end bikes and great customer service. The best rental/demo fleet in the area. Customer Service: Everyone was very attentive. Even though they are very busy, they would acknowledge my presence and helped me promptly. They took their time answering all questions, etc. Other Comments: I visited the shop to rent a bike for the day. They set me up with an Intense Spider and took their time checking it out and setting up the suspension for me. They helped me with trail recommendations and maps.
During my ride, I went over the bars once (Dakota Ridge...) and broke the left x-9 shifter. Went back to the shop after I finished the trail and they took great care of me. They replaced the shifter, only charging me their cost for the part (not even labor!!!), all of it, while I had lunch and came back to pick it up and ride more. I was pretty embarrassed about breaking the bike, but they were super cool about it and just took care of it. I then had an awesome rest of the day riding.
After my riding was over, I returned to the shop and bought a few items (great prices on clothing and gear as well) and checked out some of the beautiful rides they carry. Discussed places to eat and have a beer and their recommendations were perfect.
Oh, did I mention that they have a HUGE rental/demo fleet? They carry Intense, Santa Cruz, Ellsworth, Spot cycles, Niner and others.
I will definitely go back next time I'm in town.

Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: The best shop in the front range, period.. I've been riding road and mountain bikes for 20 plus years and I've not found a better shop than the Golden Bike Shop. The entire staff is top notch. Whether your looking for a basic road or mountain bike they will be happy to help you with no attitude.. They excel in the higher end 26inch and 29'er mountain bike market. They have and extensive line of 29'er frames and complete bikes to choose from. The shop has the most complete line of 29'er demo bikes that I have ever seen. You will not be disappointed with working with any of there knowledgeable staff. Customer Service: Simply the best I have ever dealt with. I've had my bikes worked on a number of times with no problems. Other Comments: Great selection, great service, great people..
