Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: Not all that impressed with the selection. They try to offer a little too much to too many riders. Focus on a group and excell for that group. Customer Service: Not very good. I brought in a cross country bike to get tuned up. The cost was very high (around $100) and when I got the bike back, nothing seemed to have been done. They did not even pull and replace the cables that were stretched all out of whack. Also tried to buy tubes from the shop. First they thought I wanted tires, then they got the size wrong after I told them which one I needed. And finally it took 15 minutes to have the guy run my card. He had glasses thicker than most windshields on and didn't seem to know how to use a credit card machine. Wound up with 3 authorizations for the 1 transaction on my card. Other Comments: Most of the staff is into road biking and either doesn't know or doesn't care to know anything about mountain bikes. Go up the street to the other shop if you want a mountain bike of down to Mojo wheels off of Hampden.

Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: This is were to go when you want good advice, great bike, friendly faces and everyone knows your name. Christ I sound like "Cheers". Customer Service: I first came in here a couple of weeks after I purchased my Cannondale 29er. I knew they did not stock Cannondale but I had to kill time why I awaited a Dr. appointment. I was helped instantly when I walked in and they (everyone) was so helpful and friendly. I purchased a new tube and some tools and placed an order for a frame bag. They talked to me about my bike, why I ride it and what I was going to the Dr for (knee surgery as it turns out). When my bag came in my wife went to pick it up and they treated her as if they knew her. They asked her how I was doing with my knee and made her feel right at home. I guess what I am trying to say, a shop like this is so hard to find. They all love what they do and do it so well. Even though they do not cary Cannondale, they have my business for life. KYLE, YOU ROCK!!!

Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: Shop seems crammed with bikes and when you first approach from the street, you see a old school french big wheel bike. Its pretty cool. They have alot of bikes and I looked at many shops for a specific model and no one had it but these guys and they had one of every size. Really, really good selection and everyone that I spoke to was a rider and really understood and cared what I wanted and how they could help me get it. Customer Service: Awesome. When I first walked in I felt ignored and then within about 5 minutes I was approached and helped. Ned I believe was the guys name, he listened and gave suggestions, and was very helpful. (I was looking for a f/s for my girlfriend). I went back with her and same thing, was helped after 5 minutes. This time by another guy (Michael), very nice, more of a roadie then a mountain, but seemed to know his stuff. He even set the bike up and let my girlfriend ride it to a park near by. The third time we went we were helped by Kyle. My girlfriend explained she felt to far forward and he took the bike we were looking at and swapped the stem and set the air pressure up for her weight and sized her as well as explained some things (very helpful). He let her ride it to the park again and offered me a bike to join her so I could critize as I love to do. I waited about 2 or 3 weeks and went back in and everyone there remembered my name (which I didn't make known) Kyle remembered everything and I told him I wanted to buy the bike for her, and in about 15 minutes he had it set exactly how she wanted it. (She wasn't there, because this was to be her engagement gift)This shop is awesome. Other Comments: I went to many shops looking for a bike for my girlfriend and many would ignore her if she was with me and only talk to me, or talk down to either of us. Most didn't have the selection campus does and if they did, they didn't know what they were talking about. This shop didn't look that great from the outside, but after visiting it I have really grown to like them, service, pricing, and knowledge make this a superb shop to visit and buy from.
