Bike Shop Owners! We have a new feature we call the Rating Badge. The Rating Badge is a small graphic image (150x58 pixels) that displays your shop's rating and number of reviews on Mtbr.com. You can put it on your website and it allows all your customers to review your shop. It also gives new customers the reviews and validation they need to buy from you. Just cut and paste the HTML code found in the Rating Badge section of your review page. More details about the Rating Badge here»
Salvagetti Bicycle Workshop

Salvagetti is different from other shops in Denver. They are more of a rider oriented shop. They carry a good selection of bikes and parts. They don't carry a lot of lines of clothing, but the stuff they have is solid.

They have Black Sheep (from Ft. Collins) on the custom side of things. As far as lines go, they pick the stuff they like for Denver from Giant, Jamis and Kona.

Scott, the owner, is a straight forward guy who will help you out to his best every single time. Give them a shot if you are tired of all the attitude that the other shops are throwing at you.

Shop Summary:
A small shop where the guy you talk to behind the counter is the owner. Very straight forward, no BS, just good advice. Very laid back bunch of guys. Not too large of a showroom selection, but a great place for parts / work / special orders.

Shop Summary:
As far as I’ve seen, this is the only shop in Denver by riders, for riders. The larger places, (not to mention names like Turin or Bicycle Village) will attempt to sell you a bike, but Scott and the crew will actually take time to make sure you are looking at the right bike. Test rides are offered, and they allow demos. – nice, because trying a bike with 6” of travel on the street will not give an accurate picture.

Unfortunately, Denver is loaded with shops that cater to the half-step above Walmart crowd. If you are a real rider, check out Salvagetti, they are a real local shop.

Customer Service:
Customer service is excellent. Scott actually took the time to figure out why a gearing problem I had was happening, rather than simply charging me for a bandaid solution.

Other Comments:
For riders, by riders.
