Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: Great location and very well staffed. It is a privately owned shop...no big corp. Because of this they are very friendly and knowlegdeable. It is very obvious that they have a lot of experience in all levels of cycling. Customer Service: Customer sevice is fantastic. If they don't have what I need on the shelf (which is rare) they are more than happy to order whatever I need...whether it's a small part or an entire bike. Other Comments: I do 100% of my business with Big Kahuna. I ride all sorts of bikes and they have everything I need to keep them all running in tip top form. They also have great mechanics for the stuff I can't do. All of my mtn bikes are 29ers and they have are the best 29er shop in town by a very large margin. I would rate this shop with 6 chili's if I could.

Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: The shop is in a new location and looks very nice. It is clean and well organized and the mechanic stands are in the open in the back so you can watch them do their magic (I'm not mechanically inclined so fixing a bike is magic to me). They no longer carry Rocky Mountain bikes (the type of bike I purchased from them), but they still service my bike and do a great job of getting it back to new. Customer Service: This is a great bike shop! I bought a Rocky Mountain Element from them a little over a year ago. From the purchasing to maintaining of my bike they are always helpful. Over the past year I have had pivot bolts break, hydraulic brakes freeze up when the temperature went below 32 degrees and now today a crack was found on my swing arm. Through all of the troubles they have always found the problem and fixed it always offering an explanation of what was going on and what they did to fix the problem. Today when they found the crack in my swingarm yoke they had already contacted Rocky Mountain to get the replacement part under warranty before I even came back to pick up my bike. I could have bought my bike from a closer RM dealer but I got a better feeling from this shop and I'm glad I did. The guys at Big Kahuna are are knowledgeable, professional, fast and have always been very helpful and friendly with me.

Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: Big Kahuna is a local bike shop. They are not as big as some but are better than most. Customer Service: Fast, friendly, and professional. Get to know Chric and Brandon. Between the two mountain and road bikes and unicycles will be serviced and repaired professionally and competently. Other Comments: I have been going to this shop since they opened. They have treated me grandly since my first visit. Chris and Dick do an outstanding job of taking care of me and my bikes. If they don't have the part or accessory I need they can get it for me in a reasonable time. I have always been treated well whether I have them do the work or I do it at home and all I need are parts. Brandon is a consciencous mechanic who is as crazy about cycling as I am. That's part of the reason why I recommend this local bike shop, they ride what they sell so they know what is good and what isn't. They have never steered me wrong.

Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: I really wanted this to be my local bike shop, I tried, I really did. Nice enough guys working there. I have spent probably over $500 on parts/labor etc. the last 5-6 months there. I take my two Salsas' (dos and El) that I take there to service on stuff I can't do, which is pretty much everything.
Anyway, I couldn't get my Shimano 959 pedals off my Dos Niner so I took it in there thinking that they would recognize me and just take them off for no charge. Nope, the mechanic who I've had mumerous conversations with looks at me like a stranger. It takes him 10 seconds to get my pedals off and asks me for $2
Never going back. REI is now my LBS Customer Service: Good customer service, like I said nice guys, they are just real greedy. I understand you have to make money to run a business and to live. But when you charge a good customer who has given you over $500 in services the last 6 months $2 to remove pedals I have to draw the line.
Done! Other Comments: I woudn't take my bike in for repair unless you like getting your head ripped off, go to REI.

Cross Country Rider Shop Summary:
As stated before, local bike shop with good service. They seem to treat every customer with the same level of respect. When I was in, they spent more time than I would have been able to stand helping someone select a basket from a catalog. They also seem to be able to retain good employees, which really says something.
