Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: This is one of the best shops around, and the best small shop period. They can seem a little standoffish at first, but if you get to know them you'll find that they're nice guys who really know bikes. They'll sell you what you want to buy, not what they want to sell. They pack a lot of inventory into that small shop and what they don't have they're happy to order. And they won't give you pie in the sky estimates on arrival time either- if they tell you they can have it by Friday they'll have it by Friday. It's a good place for bargain hunting- they discount everything and blow out a lot of older inventory too. And they'll always have a good selection of tubes, cables, etc. Overall, small shop service and big shop inventory. Customer Service: Like I said a little standoffish at first but nice once you get to know them. They do a big business with the touring/randonuerring/club riding crowd. Know a lot about old/unique/obscure bikes. Other Comments: I've never had any service work done here.

Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: Between all the New England State's shop I venture into from time to time this place is the best. It isn't slick like some Boston area shops, but who needs slick. This place has the bikes parts and customer service I need. Customer Service: The people there are always helpful. They dont ignore me(like some shops), they are normal people who obviously love bikes. That to me, is perfect Other Comments: They are my first choice when I need bike stuff or advice

Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: Been here twice, second time to pick up a new Specialized FSR comp. Worked with Chris. He was great! Gave me all the details of the bike. I had come off a 10 year layoff, and he was good about explaining all the recent advancements. Returned to buy/pick up and got help from another employee on shoes, etc. Saw a lot of people come in, some neewbies and others long time customers. Seems like veeryone here loves bikes, they have a big selection of bike (road and mountain) and tone of accessories. Would definitely recommend it! (Had also been to Zanes's in Branford and didn't even get approached by a salesman. Would also recommend Cheshire Cycles. Would have bought there but they didn't end up having the brand I had settled on.
