Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: Great service. Not snobby. Stands by their products. Rider advocate. Great inventory. Hard to operate in the back yard of a bike monopoly that put many other shops out of business. These guys found a niche for the real rider, which big brand shops don't seem to want anyway. Only sells and recommends the best. Great custom road bikes. Real wheel builders. Large inventory of newest things. Customer Service: Overall great. Somewhat overwhelmed at times. But that means business is good. They know their products and ride them. Work with local groups in conservation. Great kids bike upgrade program. Never blink if you are unhappy with a purchase. They make it right. Other Comments: If you want a neat clean polished shop where people who don't really ride pretend to know bikes, and give you free coffee don't go here. If you want a shop that cares about pricing, cutting edge brands with real value, and doesn't hold on to old inventory, can tell you where to find the biggest drops and best road loops, go here.
I've never seen so much Chris King bling on IF/Sinister, and cool factory Cannondale and Jamis bikes, custom DH bikes just laying around and a constant turnover of the coolest frames hanging from the ceiling. Older bikes are repaired without question or trying to sell you the bike duJour. I've seen bikes with steering wheels, three wheels, and more getting cobbled back together with custom fabrication when parts just aren't in existence. Now that's service.
