Shop Summary: I went to the shop in Middletown for some random stuff. Their regular prices were kinda high, but their specials were fair for gloves and helmets. The mountain bike section was pretty weak, but adequate for a smaller market. Very clean and new shop. The staff are very friendly, some are better than others in the bike knowledge department.
Customer Service: I've heard horror stories from friends I ride with about this location. Here's my story...I had a bottom bracket I couldn't get to budge with anything. I was replacing my crank with a new one and a new bottom bracket. I called up, they told me to bring it and they'd remove the bottom bracket for me for $20..I brought it in, they said it would take a minute and volunteered to put the new one on and then proceeded to put the crank on, adjusted my front derailleur, rear derailleur, shifter cables, the works....When I we were all done i got my wallet out expecting to pay out the nose for the service since it took well over 30 minutes. the guy rang me up for $22?!?!?!? I said, "Are you serious? You just spent all that time on my bike." He just smiled and said, "No worries, have a great ride, you have a beautiful crank there now."

Shop Summary: High volume corporate bike store. Corporate mentality. Bikes are MSRP priced with your usual prior year model discounts. Accessories, parts and clothing are overpriced. If you're 'in' with one of the employees, they extend a 5-10% discount for you to bring the price within reason. I have had pretty good dealings with the store. Chris, one of the techs, is especially helpful and provides good guidance. All personnel have a tendency to drive you to more expensive options.
Customer Service: Fast turn around on an old Trek that needed to be 'revamped' since it was sitting for a while. Repairs were done so-so, with some things needing my attention afterwards. Not what you expect with the cost of a 'full overhaul'. Mostly they were suggesting the purchase of a new bike. I have experienced younger workers who didn't know a bottom bracket from a kickstand. This was especially evident on a tire purchase I needed to make. One thing that they don't know and get me someone who does, but they tried to 'fudge' the info, which I knew was false.
Other Comments: One thing about Bike Line, this is usually where I turn if I need an emergency accessory. They usually have it, due to their shop size. This is no 'mom and pop' store, which is why their inventory is deeper than Dunbar's, as mentioned before. I would say they are 50/50 Road vs. Mtb inventory.

Shop Summary: This is a high volume shop. Bike prices seem to be the best around. Clothes and components are ridiculously priced. They carry the full Trek line (Klien, Lemond, etc). Good location, the product line is road bike heavy.
Customer Service: I had a pretty good experience purchasing my bike. It went down hill quickly from there. Almost immediately after purchase,I had a warrantee issue with a rear hub failure. The staff could not have handled it worse. It took 10-12 days with no activity and a call from me, directly to Trek, to get things fixed. I ended up picking up my bike and performing the repairs myself. The younger people on staff are either poorly trained or have no training in customer service. Some of them are down right rude.
Other Comments: There are better shops in the area that are worth a little extra money. Unless you just have to have a Trek product, I'd stay away from this shop.

Shop Summary: Seems to be a little more slanted towards road bikes, lots of product around the store compared to shops like Dunbars. Bike prices are at or below MSRP but component prices are so high they are actually funny. Some deals can be had on their 50% clearance table. I got a pair of MSRP 150 Sidi shoes for half price and a saddle for half price. Regular pricing is astronomical.
Customer Service: Hit or miss I have experienced the same sales person with completely different experiences. Maybe hes bipolar. One day he was rude and cold and another day he spent about 20 minutes with me tweaking my bike for free as a walk in. The rest of the staff either seems very nice or very new.
Other Comments: If you ever want a good laugh go in and look at the prices on the items in the showcase.

Shop Summary: Bike prices are good, usually below MSRP. Not many good deals on older models (an 05 model of a $1500 bike could be reduced by only about $100). Component prices are VERY high. Tool prices are ridiculous!! (Park cone wrench $11.99, msrp is about $5).
Where I don't seem to have made a decision is in the sales staff. Some of them have a nasty attitude, talk down to people and are not helpful at all. Some are very nice and helpful.
