Shop Summary:
Ok I dont know what grumpy Mc grumperson was talking about but I have been going to this shop ever since i moved here 6 years ago and NO WHERE ELSE have i found a better knowledge, experience and downright friendly attitude in any shop before. Every other shop in the area either doesn't know what they don't know ooorrrr, are elitist dorks who think its a privilege for you to walk in their store.I act stupid when i walk in a shop and as I get to know the guys i let them know that I used to run a shop in Calli. I do most my own work but there are times when I just don't have time. These guys are good and thorough and i asked the guy what he did cause i had thrown my hands up on this derailleur, I didn't notice the crack in my derailleurs guide pulley , but he found it, humbling.

Customer Service:
Very personable and nice, Having worked in retail most my life you get some people who like to kick the dog. (abuse the help)These people work hard and are buisy, and they make contact and say hello the minute you walk in.I like busy shops because if people are going there they are good. I could tell by the lines of bikes either done or waiting to be done out side.Good sign!Danny the part time guy who works there for his discount (cause i know you don't make tons of scratch working retail)was very knowledgeable about the trails and wasn't a total bike geek but he handed me off to Jeff the store manager who has probably forgotten more than i ever knew.He got me what I needed and let me know in the simplest instructions how to use it.Oh yeah a girl came in and wanted to know how to change a flat, the dude in the repair area showed her how to do it while she watched, Oh yea by the way she wasn't hot if you were wondering, that's cool!Oh yeah usually in retail you hire weekend warriors who eventually get hooked and become managers who know a lot, enthusiasim can make up for knowledge. There is always someone who will know what to do or help you , go back to the cave, caveman.Just ask nice

Other Comments:
These guys aren't just my shop they're riding buddies! The guy who wrote the bad review probly has never worked retail or waited tables, or if he did it was when he was a clueless snott nosed teen. There was a guy that sounded like that guy in the store, i dont think it was him cause it was a road bike, but this guy was a dick and it was a cheap bike and they still treated him with respect. This was at the beach store , thy have 3 locations Jax beach, Arlington, (havnt been to that one)and Mandarin.Brian and phil are the owners Bam (jeff)is the beach store manager, Jim runs arlington, and Jeff B. manages mandarin.Good guys great stuff , greater knowledge, best shop in j ville!

Shop Summary:
This is a smal shop with a small staff, many seems to be the type that work in the shop part time to help pay for their hobby and allow the employee discounts. I have only had them do a first service on an entry level mountain bike so I canot elaborate there.
There are multiple stores and the only one i have been in is the beach store.

Customer Service:
Huh???
I admit i am new and they sure let me feel that way when I walk in. When i did but my entry bike there the one day a week part time guy that really enjoys riding was quite helpfull, other than that, Well, lets just say my mom told me if I couln't say something nice.....
Lowered the seat and made a few adjustments just to see if my wife would be interested in hittng the trails, she loved it, I went in the next day to find out what was available, The manager, not asst, not sales guy, the manager spent a little time and was to get me prices, i had the cash ready to buy that week and he was to call me back. Guess what, Never did. Guess I was not looking at carbon fiber stuff so it was not worth it.
Stopped in, walked around 15 minutes and left, was caught at the door by the asst manager wanting to help, I explained my previous experience and he was apalled(sp) or so it seemed, promised to get me the info and call me. That was aout a week ago.

Other Comments:
If your some high tech big money guy then you may find what you need, If your brand new and get a good sales guy they can set you up within reason but there is little in between the two that I have seen.
Twice i have been in with money burning the hole so i can surprise my wife yet the stock is so limited and i am looking at the entry level $500 dollar range they just are not interested.
