Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: shop was clean and they had the part i needed (albeit at a high price) but i was shocked at their unwillingness to help me out with a 5 min job. see below.
Customer Service: i was on vacation in the Augusta area and riding in the morning with my girlfriend at one of the local trails. she ended up completely destroying one front brake pad so we got in the car and were recommended to stop by this shop to pick up a replacement. when we got there and bought a set of pads i said to the person behind the counter "would you be able to put these on for us really quick? i explained that we were from out of town and didnt have a place to work on the bike or decent tools and had come from the trail and planned to head back to the trail. he said "sorry we are moving stuff around today and cant do any repairs." there were three guys in the shop, two empty bike stands, no other customers in the shop on a Tuesday morning and yet they couldn't help us out with a 5 min job which effectively meant i had to do it with sub-par tools at the trail head. we ride in the area alot and i will be sure not to stop in there again. Other Comments: thanks for nothing Andy Jordan's.
