Bike Shop Owners! We have a new feature we call the Rating Badge. The Rating Badge is a small graphic image (150x58 pixels) that displays your shop's rating and number of reviews on Mtbr.com. You can put it on your website and it allows all your customers to review your shop. It also gives new customers the reviews and validation they need to buy from you. Just cut and paste the HTML code found in the Rating Badge section of your review page. More details about the Rating Badge here»
Reed Cycle & Ski

Raleigh, Diamond Back and Yeti dealer. Also a sponsor of the Intermountain Orthopedics/Lost River Cycling club. Bill Reed is the owner and main wrench - very friendly, knowledgeable and great to talk to. Other wrenches/sales staff are equally as friendly and knowledgeable. My only gripe is the location - not very close to my home or office, but I still make the trek out there for the great service.

Shop Summary:
Nice shop

Customer Service:
These guys are experienced but also arrogant. I love supporting local shops but I draw the line when I find a place that makes you feel like they are doing YOU a favor by letting you shop there.

The owner (Bill) told me I had to return later in the day for a refund because they didn't want to be charged the credit refund fee. I agreed because I wanted to support them. I called to make sure the check would be ready and was told it wouldn't be ready until just before the shop closed. I called just before arriving because it was almost 6 and was told not to worry. I arrived minutes after six to find the shop closed. To make a long story short although they knew I was coming and had the check completely ready, the owner and his son were HIDING so they wouldn't have to talk to me (after driving from Nampa). I finally got them to come out and give me the check but was thoroughly embarrassed in the process as people walked by watching me.
Will NEVER shop there again. At least there are other local shops that treat their customers with respect.

Other Comments:
At least I have other shops to frequent

Shop Summary:
Overall one of the best bike shops in the valley. Bill and the boys are great and know how to get your ride back in shape. Reeds accomodates every style of rider pretty well and they always have the little goodies you need to spice up rides and make your bike perform to it's fullest.

Customer Service:
Fantastic customer support. No matter the problem Bill is always willing to help solve what ever you may be experiencing. Very knowledgeable and won't steer you wrong.

Shop Summary:
Well since I'm the only downhiller here, I have to second what everyone has said. I love Reeds Cycle. It's so friendly there and everyone from weekend XC or road bike or downhill like me, they all know what problems you have.

Customer Service:
The service is fantastic. There pricing isnt about making money (otherwise their store would be bigger) its about helping their customers. The prices for repairs are fantastic. If you go to any other place they would be about $30 more for the exact same repairs. Everyone greets you with a smile and help you with everything from what type of bike to buy to what types of grips you need.

Other Comments:
If your looking for downhill, cross country, road biking or even freeride, this is your place to go.

Shop Summary:
Reed Cycle is simply the best shop I've ever been to. Bill and the rest of the crew go out of their way to help, answer questions on bikes, parts, and even give hints on 'do-it-yourself' repairs. Most importantly they do a great job servicing your Mountain, Road, &/or commutor bike. They also have a solid selection of parts, which is surprising given the size of the shop.

Customer Service:
Awesome -- I've been telling all my friends that they MUST go to Bill's Cycle in Eagle. An example may help explain why I feel this way. A number of years ago I blew out the rear cassette on my Mountain Bike -- sheared the supports right off. Not only did Bill have the replacement part I needed, he thought Shimano might just warrant the cassette. He took care of everything -- paperwork, sending the cassette & even calling me to say they actually did warrant the part. Kudo's to Bill and Shimano.

I can't count the number of times he has called me to let me know the status of my tune-up, order, or to answer a question I've had. What's cool is that everyone I talk with has a similar story.

Other Comments:
Go to Reed Cycle -- you will not be disappointed.
