Shop Summary:
Best Selection, best prices, double points, can't beat it!

Customer Service:
These guys are great, they stand behind everything they sell, I've had a jacket (broken zipper) and a wheel (spoke pulled thru) replaced at no charge, I bought them at Performance, the jacket was 3 years old, the wheel had 10,000+ miles on it, no questions asked, they said walk back and get a new one for both. Sure it's a national chain, but the whole crew really cares, period.

Shop Summary:
They've got stuff for bikes.

Customer Service:
I bought my ride here and if I can't fix it I take it back to Ricki to fix and he does good. The only real wait is if the factory takes too long otherwise a day or two and I'm back out on the trail. They've had a lot of staff turnover in the last year but most of the peeps at the shop seem to have a clue, thought there are one or two that I avoid because of their north shore attitude(not crazy stunt riding N.S. but elitist chicago N.S.)

Other Comments:
I go there some times for stuff.

Shop Summary:
chain store bike shop with a huge selection of clothing and parts. They have most everything you need at pretty good prices. Store is typically very neat, clean, and organized.

Customer Service:
Staff is really helpful and friendly. Sometimes some of the sales guys aren't super knowledgeable bike experts but if you have a question they can't answer usually there is someone there who knows the answer. The manager is a tall red head guy, he knows a ton about tech stuff as he wrenched for years before becoming the manager there and if he isn't busy he will chat with you for a long time about anything. He has another manager there who is really really knowledgable, I think he is second in charge. overall they always do everything in their power to make sure you are happy. Ive never been dissapointed, they even gave me a new trainer when i brought back a leaky one that was five years old looking for a new resistance unit. They just grabbed it from me and handed me a box with a new one!

Other Comments:
Store gets really really busy in the summer, especially on weekends, so it can be hard to get help especially if you need someone to spend some time with you. Mechanics are very knowledgable and i always take my bike in to be worked on. In the past the shop has been pretty slow to get repairs done during summer, but ive been told that this is going to improve when they can find some qualified people. They always complain about how hard it is to find a decent mechanic and someitimes the mechanics in the back seem really overwhelmed. overall, i really like this place, I don't get the used-car salesman attitude like you get at some of the local mom and pop shops.

Customer Service:
if you want to get treated like a number this is your place. took my tomac eli and my wifes mongoose tocolli in for hyd. brake adjustment.dropped both bikes on sunday and was told they would be ready on weds. called again on weds morn and was told bikes would be ready by noon. used my whole lunch hour(plus a little more)to find out that cust svc was too lazy to look at the bikes & had only read me the tag. the bikes hadn't even been looked at. i was not very happy and let them know. two days later i picked up bikes that were not properly adjusted. also got to listen to the tech say when he thought i was out of earshot(thats what you get when you act an ass).i paid the $140 for nothing and then took the bikes to RICHARDS BIKES where they are actually glad to see you

Other Comments:
skip this store. for all the bad service you will get save your money and buy online. even better, go to richards. it's worth the extra drive from north or west suburbs
