Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: Now an exclusively Trek shop, Koehlinger has a good mix of both road (commuter and race) and mountain bikes, running from the mid-low end all the way up to the top end. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and doesn't try to push more or higher end gear than you need. They also have a good selection of accessories and clothing, although their parts selection is a little weaker. They are, however, happy to order parts or tools for you if they don't have them in. Customer Service: I've only had good experiences with customer service at Koehlingers; their sales staff is quick to refer you to their back room mechanics if your question is too technical for them, and they've been good about returns. On multiple occasions they've let me return opened tools and parts when I discovered they weren't what I needed.

Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: clean, low-key shop that has focus on the "upper end" -- lots of Trek, some Giant, and a big % of the shop is given over to hi-zoot fitness equipment. clothing/accessories are well represented. Customer Service: friendly, pro-riding, courteous folks who will leave you be if you're 'just browsing'. Other Comments: not an 'everyman' type of store, a bit more upscale, but the core is there.
