Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: Motion Cycling and Fitness Customer Service: We went to this bike shop because we wanted to support a local store. We'd also read some good reviews. We went in willing to spend more than 500 dollars within minutes (a lot of money)--we'd done our research ahead of time, so we didn't need a lot of assistance...but when we got through the door, we were shocked. The service was horrible. The owner of the shop seemed to be too busy to help us (we were the only customers in the store)...Still we bought a bike/helmet/the accessories we'd researched and left- Not pleased, but hopeful that this was just a fluke (we were planning to buy more bikes and more gear from them in the future. Weeks went by, we heard nothing about our order. Finally I called. The bike and all of the gear had yet to be ordered, but they had most certainly been paid for on the spot. Okay, things happen. I made sure they had several contact numbers and was told the bike would be in in a matter of days. Again, weeks went by. We called them again. So not only did they not provide service the first time we walked in the door--1. The didn't place our order. 2. Didn't bother to contact us about anything. 3. Sent us an incorrect accessory for the bike Other Comments: ...So...we have to now make a return AND we are STILL waiting for a helmet.
Bikes are expensive---on any level. Do yourself a favor---support a shop who will support all levels of cyclists.

Racer Shop Summary: Best high-end shop in Indy. I doubt if anyone has a larger base of cycling knowledge than these guys. Both of the owners are always more than willing to answer questions...no matter what your experience level. Customer Service: You are immediately greeted upon entering the store. The floor is completely open and perfect for communication with staff or other customers! Other Comments: Chris and Ryan are both always doing repairs as well as sales...it's nice to see that the owners take such personal interest in how service bikes are treated!
